Itâ??s been two years since Michael and I last seen each other.Things just havenâ??t been the same.I went from falling in love to wanting out of love,but Iâ??m still stuck because no matter how hard I try to hide my feelings they show and one person who knows me better than anyone else is my mother.She knows what happened and has been spending a lot of time with me since Iâ??ve gotten my own place.She still tells me that she believes that Michael is the one,she just might be right.
Itâ??s 11:30p.m. and Iâ??m laying in my bed,in the dark,starring at the ceiling.I canâ??t get off to sleep for nothing.My mind is running non-stop.I take some sleep-aid and wait for it to kick in.After a hour Iâ??m still not sleep.My head is killing me,so I get up and walk into the bathroom to take an Aspirin,as soon as I was about to open up the pill bottle someone knocks at the door.My mother goes to answer it.
Mom:Who is it?
Person:Itâ??s Frank DeLeo.
My mom comes to get me and asks...
Mom:Jordyn,do you know a Frank DeLeo?
Me:Yeah,is that whoâ??s at the door?
Mom:Yeah,Iâ??ll let him in.
Me:Okay.
My mother opens the door and lets Frank in.
Frank:Hi,Iâ??m Frank DeLeo,sorry to bother you so late,is Jordyn home?
Mom:Yes,have a seat.
Frank:Thank you.
I walk into the living room coughing and surprised to see Frank,I go over and sit next to him.
Me(couging):Frank? What are you doing here?â?¦How did you find out where I live?
Frank:Are you okay,you sound horrible.
Me:Yeah,I just have a really bad headache and I think Iâ??m coming down with a cold.
Frank: Oh,thatâ??s terrible(pauses)...the reason why Iâ??m here to talk to you...and Mrs.Jackson told me where you live.
Me:Talk to me about what?
Frank:Itâ??s about Michael.
Me:Is he okay?
Frank:Heâ??s okay,but heâ??d be better if he could talk to you...Are you ready to talk to him?
Me(scared out of my mind):Yeah,Itâ??s something I gotta do.
Frank:Iâ??ll be right back.
Frank goes outside and comes back with Michael.My mother saw him before I did and I was just as shocked as her when I realized he was standing right in front of me.
Frank:Ms.Stoner,why donâ??t you and I go have some coffee and let Mike and Jordyn talk.
Mom(looking surprised):Oh yeah,sure.
Michael comes and sits next to me but says nothing.We both sit there for about ten minutes in complete silence.
