Music, Me and Michael Jackson (Part 2)
Hi!! Its Sarah again and i know that i only got 9 votes but once i start something i have to finish it! im gonna try to write the story longer so u wont think "oh thats it?!?" So here it is Part 2! Oh and BTW i dont know how many parts there r gonna be so keep reading!! ------------------------------------------------------------------ I get started on the song im writing for this group called the 'Jackson 5' when i hear a knock on my bedroom door... Me: "Cuz if he doesnt, i'll be there" ???: *knock knock* Me: Come in! Josephine: It's time for dinner. Hey watcha doin? Me: Writing a song. Josephine: You know we're not allowed to write songs for ourselves, its part of our contract with CBS. Me: I know! im not stupid! Im writing a song for a group called the Jackson 5, Josey. Josephine: Hey that name sounds familiar. Hmmmmm its on the tip of my tongue. Oh well i'll figure it out later come on we're having lasagna tonight and we better hurry before its all gone. Race ya! As we race down stairs i see that Josephine tripped and when i went back to see if she was alright then she sprinted past me!! Me: CHEATER!!!! Josephine: I never said there were any rules! We make it to the dinner table and im all angry since she had beaten me. I know that i can be a sore loser some times but its only cuz im really competitive! Mom: Stop messing around you two and eat your food! Josephine and Me: Ok, Mom. Everyone was really quiet and focused on eating until Josephine perked up. Josephine: So, Rachel watcha writing about in your song? Me: Nothing! Be quiet Josey! Cherry: Youre writing a song? Is it about anyone you like?? Me: No! Mom: Rachel, if its not about anyone than what is it about? Me: I dont know! Its for one of Motown's groups called the Jackson 5. Josephine: Oh NOW i remember who they are!! They just got signed to Motown back in March. Theyre a bunch of boys from Indiana and theyre said to be really good!! Me: How do you know all this Josey? Josephine: I read about it in a magazine. Annabelle: Have you met them yet Rachel? Me: No i havent. Why is everyone so curious, its not that big of a deal! Emily: Yes it is! Me: Shut up! Robert: Come on guys just leave her alone!! I could always count on my older brother Robert to save the day! Even though he was adopted, I still have known him my whole life and he's always been there when i needed and called for him... Hey! i got another part for the song! 'just call my name and I'll be there' or 'whenever you need me i'll be there' hmm which one? I guess i can just use both! Robert: If she doesnt wannna talk about her song than dont ask so many questions ok? I looked over at Robert and mouthed thank you and he mouthed back your welcome. We kept on eating until everyone had finished except my little brother Sammy, so he had to stay behind. I went up to my room and finished the lyrics now all i had to do was the melody, harmony, and the rhythm. Soon i get a knock on my door it was my older sister Tanya, she was my only sister that didnt ask any questions about my song. Me: Hi Tanya. Tanya: Hey im sorry about what happened at the dinner table, Rachel. Me: Dont be sorry you never did anything. Tanya: I know, im apologizing for Josephine, Mom, Cherry, Annabelle, and Emily. Me: Thanks... i forgive you. Tanya: *laughs* Oh you little munchkin!! I then scream and she starts tickling me. And i am VERY ticklish but i wont tell anyone that i am cuz theyll automatically start tickling me. Im so ticklish that i can tickle myself! I tell her that im tired and i get ready for bed, i then get a call. Me: Hello? ???: Hi Rachel its Berry Gordy. Me: Oh hi Berry I've been working on the song and its coming together really good and... Berry: Well thats what i wanted to talk to you about, you see theres some good news and bad news. Me: the good news? Berry: the good news is that some writers and i can help you edit out the song. Me: and the bad news? Berry: the bad news is that its been scheduled to be done next week. My mouth drops. How can i finish a song in a week? there's no way! Im glad that he said that he and some writers can help me cuz im still only 11! Berry: Rachel? Me: Oh im sorry Berry! I just am shocked with the news that i have to finish it in a week! Berry: This is exactly why i got some writers who can help you out. Me: I finished the lyrics up all i need really is the beat and some parts in the melody and harmony. Berry: Well if you can come tomorrow we'll be happy to help you and maybe you can meet the Jackson 5! Me: Oh id love to! I just have to ask my mom. Can you hold on one moment? Berry: Of course. I scream to my mom about heading to Motown in the morning to work on the song, she says yes but only if i go to bed. Me: THANKS MOM!! She said yes Berry but i have to get to bed now and is 9:00 good for you tomorrow morning. Berry: Yes thats fine im looking forward to meeting you. Me: The same to you Berry. Berry: Oh and im sure the boys are going to want to meet you Rachel. Me: the boys? Berry: Of the Jackson 5. Me: Oh yes of course!! Well 'night Berry!! Berry: Goodnight Rachel. After brushing my teeth i turn out my light and get into bed with questions going out through my head. I wonder how many are in the band? oh wait... theres five duh! I wonder what theyre like? I wonder if i'll be writing more songs for them in the future? As i kept wondering everything that i could think of i drifted off to sleep. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Would ya think?!?! Much better than part 1 keep reading on to see what Rachel finds out about the Jackson 5. If you like it so far PLZ VOTE!!! If you dont then dont vote!
