Alanna: (turns around) daddyâ?¦ (Her voice sounded sad) Michael walked over to her and Alanna looked down. Michael kneeled down to her level and looked at her. Alanna: am I in twouble Michael: your time out was your twouble little lady Alanna: (looks at Michael with a small smile) Michael: but you know what you did to me was wrong Alanna: me knowâ?¦ Michael: (looks at her and smoothes her hair back) Alanna: and me sowwyâ?¦ Michael: its okay (he smiled and stood up) just donâ??t do that again Alanna: I wonâ??t, pwomise! (She got up and hugged Michael around his good leg) I uv you daddy Michael: I love you too. (He picked her up and headed downstairs) Stormi and I were in the kitchen eating some ice cream and she was telling me about something I really didnâ??t expect. Stormi: Mom Me: Yeah? Stormi: Thereâ??s someone I likeâ?¦. Me: (almost swallowed my spoon and coughs) what?! Stormi: yeahâ?¦ Me: Who? Stormi: That boy that lives down the street from us. Me: I was gonna say you like someone, from school? You get private tutoringâ?¦. Stormi: yeah I know, but when Iâ??m outside heâ??ll walk by and smile and wave at me. Weâ??ve only talked through the gate. Me: Ohâ?¦does he live in the gray house? Stormi: Yeah Me: I know who youâ??re talkin about Stormi: You think I could date him? Me: Youâ??re a little to young Stormi: Iâ??m almost 11 Me: there is no dating until after youâ??re married! Stormi: what? Then how am I gonna get married? Mom!! Me: Those arenâ??t my rules; theyâ??re your dadâ??s Michael: (walks in with Alanna) whatâ??s mine? Me: I see we kissed and made up (smiles) Michael: Yeah we did Stormi: dad, mom said there was no dating until after I was married Michael: yeah (smiles and winks at me) there is no dating until after youâ??re married Storm Stormi: What butâ?¦ Michael: Ease up; maybe when youâ??re 14 you can start dating. We just want to protect you Stormi: (Smiles) I seeâ?¦wait 14? Michael: yeah 14 Stormi: but thatâ??s almost 2 years from now! Michael: you wanna push it to 16? Stormi: Noâ?¦. I just laughed and shook my head walking out of the kitchen ignoring those two argue like they usually do Stormi: But why does it have to be 14?! Thatâ??s so unfair Michael: Itâ??s not unfair, itâ??s right. Stormi: No itâ??s not! You have no idea how much I love him Michael: Love him? You shouldnâ??t know about love until youâ??re a lot older! Alanna: I LIKE COOKIES!! Stormi and Michael: (look at Alanna and start to crack up laughing) I love it when Alanna does those sudden out bursts. Iâ??m not sure were she gets that fromâ?¦I decided to go upstairs and take a hot bath. I lit myself a few tea light candles and set them around the bathroom and turned the lights off. I got in the tub as it filled up and I started to relax the moment my body touched the hot water. I smiled and closed my eyes, when the tub got filled up I turned the water off. I was relaxing and thinking when I heard the bedroom door close and it locked. I got kind of nervous so I sat up in the bath tub. Me: Michael is that you? There was no reply, but the foot steps moved towards the bathroom door, and they slowly turned the door knob. to be continued... not until i get 10 votes :)
