Part Ten ~ Losing A Best Friend ~

Michael stood. He crossed his arms. 
Michael: So your not pregnant? *points to me*
Me: NO!
Michael: Janet.. I can't belive you.
Janet: Iknow I shouldn't have.. *looks scared*
Katherine comes humming down the stairs. 
Katherine: Ohh my lovely daughter-in-law soon to have my grandchild.
Me: *bites lip*
Janet: *sigh* Mom..
Katherine: Yes?
Janet: I'm... Pregnant...
*Awkward Silence*
Katherine drops the basket of laundry and clasps her hands to her mouth.
Janet looks down and bites her lip. Michael dragged me into the living room letting them two talk in privacy. 
Michael: I can't belive you!
Me: Why?..
Michael: You lied to me.
Me: I was only trying to help her.
Michael: I got soo carried into it and then this turns out?
Me: *bites bottom lip* Sorry.
Michael: Forget it now. He sits down onto the sofa and starts to watch T.V. I stood there not knowing where to go. 
He patted the space beside him and looked at me. Instead I walked the other way.. and sat down on the other chair. He looked at me quite annoyed. 
Me: Why were you so fond about all this anyway?
Michael: Remember when I was on the phone with Ted. *still looking at T.V*
Me: SO you were!.. Yea.?
Michael:*chuckle* Yea.. Well actually I was hoping to you know..
Me: oh.. But it's all too early I'm only 17 Don't you think we should slow down?
Michael: Sorry. I'll try.
Me: Thanks. *smile*
Suddenly we hear a slap. Michael runs over to where his mom and sister were. Katherine had slapped Janet across the face and now Janet had gone red and ran upstairs crying. I ran after her while Micahel talked to his mother about what just happened. 
Me: What Happened?
Janet: *Puts thing into a plastic bag* i toldher that it was Ted's and she slapped me and told me I'm not her daughter anymore. 
Me: *grabs bag* Your not leaving. Please don't leave me alone. Your liek a sister to me I need you.
Janet: I'm sorry. But I have to Mom won't let me live here.
Me: Where you going to go?
Janet: Just help me out.
Me: What do you mean?
Janet: Please give me some money so I can buy a flat. You a celeb. Please?
Me: Sure I will But don't go! *grabs onto foot*
Janet: I'm sorry Cookie I don't want to but i HAVE to!..
With that Janet went downstairs I followed her..
Me: Don't leave please.
Janet: Sorry Cookie. *hugs* 
The door shut. She was Gone.
