It's been a couple of years since Michael and I broke up;1984 to be exact. We both moved on,he was dating Brooke Shields and I was engaged to be married. I really missed Michael, but the past was the past,right? At times I wonder what it would be like if we were still together, but he has Brook now and I'm pretty sure I'm not on his mind anymore. One day I decided to go to the mall and buy some albums from the music store. The store was rather empty considering it was a weekday. I was browsing around look for something new, when a man came in wearing big shades, a big afro with a black hat over it,a mustache that looked like it was painted on. A striped polyester shirt with a brown jacket over it, and a red and black bow tie. I turned away quickly so he couldn't see me laughing, but it was too late he'd already seen me. Okay after a while I was started to get freaked out cause he was following me. I grabbed the albums I wanted and rushed to the counter and threw the money up there. I ran out full speed to my car and before I knew it, I seen the guy coming up to me closer. I scrambled for my keys as fast as I could; Unfortunately I dropped them. Good thing I carry mase in my purse,so I reached for that. The guy had finally reached me and pushed me against the car.

??:Going somewhere young lady?
Me:Please don't hurt me,I'll give you anything you want.
??:Anything?
Me:Yes anything.
??:How about you give me your number Pam so I can call you.
Me:(looking for a piece of paper)Okay I'll...wait how do you know me?
??:(taking off his shades)
Me:(staring at him)Michael?
Michael:(giggling)That's me,did I scare ya?
Me:(yelling)uggh hell yeah,don't do that shit ever again.
Michael:(cracking up)God you should of seen your face(mocking me)Please don't hurt me,I'll give you anything you want.
Me:(punches his arm)Not funny.
Michael:Aw lighten up(hugging me)How are you?
Me:I'm great,you?
Michael:Great.
Me:That's great.
(awkward silence)
Michael:So.....
Me:So.....
Michael:Are you dating?
Me:Actually engaged(flashing my ring)
Michael:Engaged....hmph.
Me:What's that suppose to mean?
Michael:Nothing.......engaged?
Me:Yeah I am,you say it like it's a crime.
Michael:No no I don't mean it like that, it's just wow.
Me:(confused)I guess....So how are you and Brooke?
Michael:Oh we're great never been better.
Me:Michael I know I've said this before but I'm really sorry abo-
Michael:Don't...just don't,I understand. That was in the past,we have to move on.
Me:You sure?
Michael:I'm sure.
Me:Okay.
Michael:(changing the subject)So who's that lucky guy that you're marrying?
Me:His name is James,we'll be married in 3 months.
Michael:Umm must be nice.

Michael and I got in my car and talked for hours til it started getting dark out. We exchanged number's and said our goodbye's. Every since that day we reunited,we'd talk on the phone and even go out to places. I felt kinda bad because I was seeing my ex behind my fiancee's back,but it wasn't like we were doing anything bad.......................or were we?
