Hidden Love

It was the summer of 1975 and being the daughter of one of the most successful singers of all time (Diana Ross)had its advantages & disadvantages this meant being a typical 17 year old was never an option.

Me: (on the phone to my BF Rachel) - He was soo sexy....

I heard someone coming up the stairs.
Just then mother walked into my room.. without even knocking !
Arghh I just hate hate hate when she does that.

Me:Hold on Rachel...

Mom: Ashley can you take Fufi out for a walk please and make sure your ready by 7pm we need to go to the Jackson's dinner party.

Me:Alright I'll be down in 10 minutes.

Me and Rachel talked for 10 more minutes then I decided to go downstairs were I saw my mother sitting in her favourite armchair with a wine glass beside her and a bottle of baileys her hair was volumized and wild and her silk puple robe shone as the sun rays hit diffrent corners of the Banquet room, I sometimes worried about my mother since she divorced my father she has never really been the same.

Mom: Honey, Make sure your home by 5:00pm.

Me:Alright Mother.

Simple things like taking the  dog  out for a walk or taking a walk to the park was not so simple because every day I was the target for the magazines and Newspapers.
Being me is not easy I think about everything I do or say even having friends is diffcult that is why I only have Rachel due to the fact that I never knew if people actually were my friends because of me or because of the things I had around me .

*Back home*
Mom: Finally your here (worried)
Me:It's only 5:15pm Mom and I was being mobbed out there anyway..I'm sick & tired of the paparazzi.(Upset)

Mom: (hugging me) Aw Honey...you know what if you just get ready by 7:00 pm for the dinner party I'll get you that Mini cooper you've been ranting on about (smiling)

Me: Really mom ? (smiling) Thank you !..I love you
Mom:I love you too sweetheart..now go and get ready (Kisses my cheek)
I ran upstairs and I decided to wear my white knee length dress and my four inch balck heels

I and my mother were both ready by 7:00pm we got into the one of many limos my mother owned and off we went.

Chaffuer:Ms Ross I say you look most beautiful this evening.

Mom: Thank you Reginald (blushing)

Thoughts: OMG Can this day get any more depressing.(sigh)

* At Encino ,Calfornia -Hayhurst compound *
I and  my mother got of the limo and were escorted to the Hayvenhurt Mansion.. And then to the dinner room,I must say it was grand it was extremely captivating.
Then I saw Joe & Katherine Jackson approaching us

Joe Jackson: Diana (Kisses her on the cheek)you look lovely.
Mom:Thank you ( my mother never complimented other people back xD)
Joe:Well thank you for coming (smiles)..I need to check on the other guests ( Joe walks off )

Katherine: Diana is this little Ashley ?
Mom:Yes..She's all grown up now (strokes my cheek)..Can you show us to our seats ?
Katherine:Yes ..right this way

Me:Mrs Jackson can I use your restroom?
Katherine:Oh it's down the hall second door to your left honey (smiles)
Mom:Don't be long Ashley.
Me:Alright Mom

I walked out of the dinner party and walked down the hall which  seemed to to go on forever I was feeling lost and slightly scared and to top it all off I was not seeing any doors on my left.
I could hear footsteps behind me and before I can turn around someone grabs me by the waist...........
