Friends, Possibly Lovers? Part 5
Nxt part is here! =] __ 4 months later. So Michael and I has became really close with each other, we always hang out together, we tell each other everything, and he knows everything about me. Today is Sunday, June 10th, 1972, my 13th birthday, and yes Michael is one year older that me, remind you all that I skipped a grade. I woke up feeling really good because I'm a preteen now, I went downstairs and my mom was watching television, she told me happy birthday, and so did my sister. But that's it!? That's all I get? I just waited til later on in the day to see if anyone would come through with anything. **Later that day** Still nothing! All my aunts and uncles and stuff forgot my birthday? See this is how you know I'm not important. I was about to go back to my room and just cry my eyes out until someone rang the doorbell. Me:I'll get it!(opens the door) Hi Michael!(hugs him) Michael:Hi Shanice, Happy Birthday. Me:Thank you! You're the 3rd person who told me that today.. Michael:What!? Really? Me:Yeah.. Michael:Good thing I showed up then.. Me:Why? Michael:Todays your birthday, I'm takin' you out. Go get dressed Me:Omg! Okay.. So as Michael was waiting for me downstairs, I went up to my room, got dressed, fixed my hair, and went back down.. Me:I'm ready. Michael:Wow, you look beautiful. Me:(awestricken)Thank youu! You look beautiful-er! Michael:That's not a word. Me:Your point? Michael:(giggling)Lets go. Michael and I left my house and got inside a limo, I began to think to myself, did Michael plan all this? Maybe he did. Me:So where are we going? Michael:If I tell you, then I'd have to kill you. Me:You wouldn't.. Michael:I know, that's why I can't tell you. Me:Ugh! You! Michael:(giggles) It was a really short ride until we finally got to out destination, Michael blindfolded me so I couldn't see where we were. After we got settled in the place we were, Michael took of my blind fold. Jermaine was here too.. Michael:Here we are! Me:You brought me to the recording studio! Oh my god, wait.. Don't tell me.. You're gonna make me watch you record a song? Michael:Yep. Me:Omg! Omg! I have front row seat here too.. Michael and Jermaine went to the mic in the recording area, The music started, Michael winked at me, then he began to sing. Michael:♫singing I'll be there with Jermaine♫ By the time they were finished, I was already in tears, that was the best birthday present any one has ever given to me, EVER. Michael:So, what do you think? Me:(crying)Thank you. That was the best birthday present any one has ever gave me.. Thank you so much Michael, you're the best!(hugging him) Michael:No actually, you're the best. I wouldn't trade our friendship for anything in the world. You're my best friend. Me:Best friends forever..(wiping my tears) Michael:(still hugging me)..Yep. Me:Uh, you can let go now.. Michael:Oh, sorry.(laughing) Me:It's okay. Oh and I brought my camera, lets take some pictures. Michael:Uh, sure, okay.. Michael and I took some memorable pictures, they all came nice, some were just silly but, thats what friends do. After that, Michael took us out to eat, and after that it was about 8:00 pm, then brought me home, when we reached there, he walked me to the door. Me:I had a awesome time Michael. This was the best birthday ever! Thank you.(hugs him) Michael:It was the least I could do. I'm glad you enjoyed it. So I'll see you in school tomorrow, right? Me:Yeah, Bye, Michael. Michael:Bye, Shanice.. I opened the door and stood there to watch Michael leave, as he got in the car, I waved goodbye to him again. Man, I never had a friend like Michael, he's definitely a keeper. When I got inside, I told my mom about my awesome day, I told my sister Ashley too, but she always had a comment about something. Ashley:You like Michael now, don't you? Me:Uh, no.(seriously lol) Ashley:Stop lying! I know you do.. Me:You probably do since you keep stressing about it. Ashley:Okay you pass again this time, but next time I promise, you will say yes! Me:Okay, whateva. I went up to go take a shower, when I was done, I changed and went back to my room. I lyed and thought about that wonderful day I had with Michael, I can't wait to see him tomorrow.
