Hmmmm, this is a tough nut to crack hha. But on a serious note. Just give him some time to sort of adjust & get used to the flow of things first. Since it's been a couple of years you should take this opportunity to just start out as friends. As far as rushing into a relationship goes... Not a good idea. It WILL end in a bad way, trust me :/ But just talk to him as if you were friends. Let him, tell you if he feels the same way, if he doesn't sort of mention it in a realy subtle kind of way and see where the conversation goes from there. And if he still feels the same, then you're good. But let him ask, and also don't overcrowd him, like be in his face 24/7 cause that can also lead to a not so good relationship.
