1991 lovers part 1

The year is now 1991, Iâ??m 32 now and my hair has gotten longer, it comes down past my shoulder blades, my body is now in excellent shape. Iâ??ve got my 6 pack back, and I live in Lake Forest, IL. I have a great friend and his name is Michael Jordan. Yes thee Michael Jordan. Weâ??ve been good friends for about 3 years now, and he and I are always hanging out when we can. He told me that he was working on â??Jamâ? with Michael tomorrow, and he asked if I wanted to come along. I mean I canâ??t disappoint MJ; heâ??s one of my best friends. So I said yes, Maybe Michael wonâ??t notice itâ??s me. The next day I woke up and got dressed, I put on black sweats, a blue tank top that hugged my curves and tennis shoes. I was thinking about taking a run while they were rehearsing. MJ picked me up and we headed to the studio.

Me: Michael
MJ: Yeah?
Me: (putting my hair up in a ponytail) can I tell you something
MJ: Yeah what is it?
Me: Michael Jackson
MJ: yeah what about him?
Me: Heâ?¦used to be my boyfriend and we had a kid together
MJ: (slams on the car brakes) WHAT! How come you didnâ??t tell me this?
Me: I donâ??t know!
MJ: Do you want to go to the studio still? I can take you back home
Me: No, Iâ??ll go with you, Iâ??ll be okay.
MJ: are you sure?
Me: Yeah letâ??s go
MJ: alright (he eased up on the brakes and started driving again) when did you two have a kid?
Me: Back in 87
MJ: so your kids 4 now?
Me: Yup
MJ: wowâ?¦.this is a little shocking
Me: What do you think heâ??ll do when he sees me?
MJ: I couldnâ??t tell you Kellyâ?¦
Me: â?¦.
MJ: can you answer one thing for me?
Me: Yeah
MJ: Whyâ??d you leave him and your guysâ?? kid?
Me: Because, the paparazzi and a few of his fans got to me, and wellâ?¦I was depressed for about a month, so I got up one morning and left. I hated hurting himâ?¦
MJ: How do you think he feels now? You hurt him badlyâ?¦
Me: I know (I closed me eyes for a second then opened them) I knowâ?¦
MJ: Well here we are, you ready?
Me: I guess

MJ pulled into the parking lot and parked towards the door we both got out and walked inside, I stood close to MJ because I was scared to see Michael. I saw a little girl running past us, she had long curly black hair and she was in pants and a shirt, I saw her run over to a man and he picked her up and spun her around. Then I saw it was Michael, and Stormi. Then the first thought came into my head â??How could I do this to myself, how could I do this to them? Stormi never knowing I was her motherâ? as I was thinking Michael walked over to us and he didnâ??t look at me I knew he knew I was here, but he looked at MJ.

Michael: Mr. Jordan
MJ: Mike
Michael: are you ready to run through a few things today?
MJ: Yup, ready as Iâ??ll ever be
Michael: (smiles) go grab your coloring book Stormi (he set her down)
Stormi: Okay, I wuv you dad (runs off to get her coloring book)
MJ: hey whereâ??s the bathroom?
Michael: Um, right over there (he pointed to he hall) first door on the right
MJ: right thanks (he walked over to the bathroom)

Michael and I stood there, he wouldnâ??t look at me, and so I didnâ??t even bother looking at him. I wanted to cry, I knew what mistake I had made, and I knew Michael wouldnâ??t forgive me, a few seconds later I felt his stare on me. So I looked up and our eyes locked, I could see the sadness in his eyes, he just shook his head, and walked away. Oh what have I done?
