One Other - Part 1

It was raining in Southern California. Thunder was roaring loud, lightning flashed like a camera, the only sound was the Monday morning traffic and the hard splashing of the rain. Melissa stretched and turned over to give her fiancÃ©, John, a kiss but soon realized he had left the apartment for work.
Slowly she began to sit up and turned her head towards the alarm then the clock had reminded her it was Monday. She felt tired so she slept in for another hour.

(Joan) â??Good morning Ms. Turner.â?
(Mel) â??Good morning.â?
(Joan) â??Ms. Kentwood would like to see you in her office.â?
Mel rolled her eyes.
(Mel) â??Alright.â?
 Quickly Mel rushed to Ms. Kentwoodâ??s office to see what her complaints were today about the companies profits. Mel reached the office door, took a deep breath and entered.
A sudden shock filled Melâ??s entire body; she couldnâ??t move, speak or barely breathe. 
(Ms. Kentwood) â??Melissa, I would like to introduce you to Mr. Jackson.â?
Mel shook her head to bring herself back to reality.
Michael reached out his hand politely and smiled.
(Michael) â??Itâ??s a pleasure to meet you.â?
Slowly Mel reached for his hand and quickly shook it before they both let go.
(Ms. Kentwood) â??Mr. Jackson has chosen our company to work on his clothing for his upcoming HIStory tour.â?
(Mel) â??Great, any design ideas?â?
Mel was trying hard to avoid eye contact with Michael otherwise her body would go into a shock again. 
(Ms. Kentwood) â??Actually Melissa, I called you in here because recently Iâ??ve been impressed with your ideas for this seasonâ??s design projects, Mr. Jackson also viewed your designs and was hoping for you to work on his clothing line for the HIStory tour.â?
Melâ??s heart had stopped again; she couldnâ??t believe THE Michael Jackson had viewed her designs.
(Mel) â??Iâ??d be more than honoured.â?
Michael grinned at Mel, she smiled back.
She couldnâ??t get over how good he looked, his hair was down but looked tidy, and he had two black curls caressing his beautiful face but half his face was hidden by his black Ray Band shades. From what Mel could see, his skin looked incredibly soft and his mouth was moist and as she focused on his mouth he suddenly bit his lip. Mel could have melted on the spot, she soon found Michael incredibly attractive.
(Ms. Kentwood) â??Youâ??ll start your designs tomorrow.â?
(Michael) â??Great.â? 
(Ms. Kentwood) â??I would like to thank you again Mr. Jackson for choosing our company to work with you on your upcoming tour.â?
(Michael) â??How could I resist after I saw Ms. Turnerâ??s designs.â?
Michael turned towards Mel and smiled, she smiled back.
He instantly thought how beautiful Mel looked when she smiled. 
(Mel) â??I didnâ??t think they were that great to be honest.â?
(Michael) â??You must be joking, I thought they were fantastic.â?
(Mel) â??Wow, thank you.â?
(Ms. Kentwood) â??Iâ??m sure you have a busy schedule ahead of you Melissa.â?
(Mel) â??Now I do.â?
(Ms. Kentwood) â??Well I suggest you begin to work on your designs for tomorrow.â?
Mel nodded her head and smiled at Michael as she left the room.
Michael managed to catch her attention before she left the office.
(Michael) â??Wait!â?
Mel turned around and looked at Michael.
(Michael) â??Are you available tonight?â?
(Mel) â??Yes.â?
(Michael) â??Would you mind if we discussed more of the tour designs over dinner?â?
Mel was stunned, was Michael Jackson asking her out to dinner? She knew she had to be dreaming.
(Mel) â??Not at all.â?
(Michael) â??Do you have a card?â?
(Mel) â??Oh sorry, I have one right here.â?
She handed Michael her business card.
(Michael) â??Great, here is mine.â?
Both exchanged business cards with their numbers written on.
(Mel) â??What time would be most convenient for discussing our plans?â?
(Michael) â??Iâ??ll pick you up, 8.00pm, sharp.â?
(Mel) â??Ok.â?
