I Wanna Be Where You Are 11

1972 June 14 , 6:00am...Moving Day

Mom:Get up bubble we're gonna miss our plane.
Me:5 more minutes(burrying my head in my pillow).
Mom:Our plane leaves in an hour. Get ready.
Me:Mom.....
Mom:(cuts me off)NOW.
Me:(slowly getting out of bed)Ok, gosh mom.
I had already packed all of my suitcases(3).I just had to get ready. I put on a navy blue sleevless beach dress,and black flipflops.
Me:I'm ready mom!
Mom:Get in the car sweetie.
Me:(gets in the car)

We drive off to the airport and get on our plane, on time.We get to California in about 3hours and 40 minutes. In California it was 7:10 in the morning when we got there. My mom wanted to get there early so she could unpack and have a nice homecooked breakfast with her family.I'm unpacking and am just about to call Michael to tell him that I got here safe when I hear a high piched girlie scream.

CrazyGirl:MICHAEL! I LOVE YOU!(hugs him real real tight)
Michael:(getting choked)Thankyou.
I run outside and am just standing there looking at him with a smile on my face. He looks wide eyed at me.

Michael:Xaina!? We live on the same street?!
Me:(giggles)Yep.
CrazyGirl:(looking at me like I'm some kind of criminal)
Me:Oh....Hi I'm Xaina, Michaels best friend(holds my hand out for a handshake)
CrazyGirl:(walks away)
Michael:Ummm......sorry about that.
Me:It's ok.
Michael:Oh....Happy 14th birthday!
Me:Michael! You remebered!
Michael: Of coarse I remembered, I would never forget.
