From Across The Room (Pt. 13)
Sorry i forgot to mention that the last one was from crystal's point of view but im pretty sure you figure it out on your own. This one's from Michael's point of view. Enjoy! - JalenF :) 2 Months Later... The last few weeks have been a nightmare and a dream all wrapped into one. One day things seem to be looking up for us & then the next it's the complete opposite. Since Crystal's been through so much, I decided to pay for her to take a private jet down to florida to see her mother. That sad night at the hospital, we decided to get rid of the baby right then & there. And of course the press have been all up in our business which is another reason i sent Crystal to florida, so as not to stress her out. I'm sitting on the couch watching "Titanic" & eating seafood (weird huh?) until the maid Maria camre into the room... Maria: Mr Jackson you have a visitor. Me: Could you answer it please? Oh, don't tell them i'm home, i dont really want to be bothered right now. Maria: But of course Mr Jackson. So Maria left to answer the door & it's something about the unannounced guests voice that i don't like about their voice. I cant quite place my finger on it... What the mess is all thw fuss about? It sounds like they're at a ball game & the team they're going for just lost or something. I would go invetigate but these crab legs is irresistable. Maria's coming back, i guess i didn't need to get up after all. Me: Maria who was that & what was all the commotion about? Maria: It was the crazy lady who was obsessed with you; Karyn i think. I remember you specifically told me about a year ago telling me not to allow her on the premises. I dont know what it was but she looks...... *trails off* I dont know what's happening, im actually going toward the very woman i went to so much trouble to stay away from. I feel compelled to go & talk to her. Just to find out whta's been going on. Me: Hey. Karyn: Hey, Michael. Me: So what's been going on? You seem...... off. Karyn: Alot, i've been really depressed lately. You're the only person i can turn to, everyone else has turned their back on me. Oh, and just for the record, i'm not here to rekindle any old flames between us. Me ...... Karyn: ut i've been really depressed from... certain events. And i'm strung out on drugs & i really want your help. Me: Oh Karyn im so sorry. But there's one condition Karyn: Oh, anything for you. Me: No funny business. Like what you just said. Dont do that. I'll help you if you agree to that one condition. Karyn: Yes. I can't believe what i just did. I just invited a druggie into my house! Without the consent of my girlfriend nonetheless! I'll call her later, but in the meantime i gotta deal with karyn. I don't necessarily want her into my house right now, so i'll tell her to come tomorrow. After i'e had a chance to tell Crystal about what just happened... Me: Alright Karyn, do you think you can handle one more day? Right now isn't exactly the best time for me to take someone in. Karyn: Alrite *Looks disappointed* Thank goodness, because if Crystal found out, she would go bananas on me. Maria was trying to look busy, from what i can tell she must've been listenig in on my conversation. Maria: What did she want Mr Jackson? Me: You know what she wanted. *Winks & Smiles* Maria: *looksguilty* Michael: Thats fine I went back to watching my movie & enjoying my dinner. Just then, my phone rings. Dang! Can a man get some peace & quiet around here!? But i'm so happy to see Crystal's name pop up on the caller ID. I answer but it's not Crystal, its sounds like her mother. And she's got panic all up and through her voice. Me: Margret just calm down and tell me whats the problem. Margret (Crystals' Mother): CRYSTAL JUST WENT INTO LABOR!!!!! To Be Continued...
