Christmas Wish for Mistletoe @1@

Hey guys! Me Alicia!! I'm starting this new story!! Dedicated to Kelly,Lexi,Jada,Samone,Caitlyn,and Karly. Enjoy!!

This is the story of a girl named Mistletoe Holly. The year is 1969. Her father,Buddy Holly,died 10 years ago. She was only 1 year old. Now she is 11 and has been living with her grandmother ever since. But her grandmother died yesterday. She has no where else to go. But luckily,a wealthy family from Encino,California wants to take her in. Her mother was never really around either,so this family is her last resort. Today is the day she's leaving,and she's packing for the journey ahead. She put her father's glasses that they found on the burning plane on her stack of clothes in her suitcase. Then she heard a car horn hon. It was her time. She left behind the house she grew up in and got in the dinky,dented Rolls Royce. There was a boy in the driver's seat that couldn't be more than 14!

Driver:So...What's your name Miss?
Mistletoe:What's your's first?
Driver:(grinning)You're one of those girls.
Mistletoe:What girls?
Driver:Nothing.My name is Buddy...Buddy Hall.

Mistletoe almost lost her composure and started crying. Today was the day her father died 10 years ago. February 3,1959 was the tragic day. But Mistletoe held it together.

Buddy:So...What's your name?
Mistletoe:Mistletoe Holly.

Then Buddy turned on the radio and Not Fade Away by Buddy Holly came on. After a while they got to the airport and flew up and away into the sky.
