My Letter toThe Gloved One

Dear Michael,

When I heard the news that you wre gone, I felt shocked and distant. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I had never imagined that The King of Pop could die. I was so sad. But Later, I realized that I shouldn't feel sad, but that I should feel happy. Not because you died, of course. But because you were finally free from all of the drama, the alligations,the lies. I'm glad that you are in heaven, because that means that the tabloids and the paperazzi can't make up lies about you. I,m also happy because now, you are free from all of the painful memories of your childhood. I am a big fan of yours. I practically drive my family crazy listening to your music and talking about you every minute of the day. You know, it would have been great to meet Michael Jackson: The Entertainer. But it would have been better to meet Michael Jackson: The Person. Yeah, you are a great performer and everything, but I think that you would make a great friend, too. A person that I could run to for comfort. And not just me, anyone. That's the reason why I listen to "I'll Be There" all the time. Because it reminds me so much of you. If there were more people like you on Earth, the would be such a better place. Even though your gone, sometimes it seems like your the only one that I can talk to. Sometimes I just cry at night because I miss you so much. So, I just put on my iPod, listen to "I'll Be There", and look at pictures of you and your brothers. After that, I always feel better. "I'll Be There" is my favorite song by the The Jackson 5. My favorite song by you is "Smile". I listen to it everday. The lyrics fit so well with my situation. Although the song is called "Smile", sometimes I cry because you sound so beautiful when you sing it. I also cried when I saw Jermaine singing it at your memorial. He sung it beatifuliy as well. I felt pure sadness for your family. I didn't know that you had a 9th sibling. I'm sorry for your loss, although you weren't born yet. Now, you and your brother can be together in heaven. I have to say goodbye now, but I'll be talking to you again soon. Although you've grown dramatically over the years, in my heart, you'll always be my Little Michael.

P.S.- I'm very sorry about yor vitiligo. It must have been hard going through that, people treating you differently because your skin changed colors. But, like I said, now that you are in heaven, you are free from all of the drama, the alligations, and the lies. It must feel great to finally be at peace. Although I'm only 12, I feel like I'm siritually connected to you. I love you Michael. I always have and I always will. I love everything about you. From your flashy costumes, to your love for animals. You will always, and forever, be in my heart.
