(Part 5) When Michael said that he liked me I just sat there with my mouth open. Michael:Are you ok? Me:Yes I'm sorry.I just can't beleive that you...well...like me. Michael:I do.A lot.What about you? Me:What about me? Michael:(smileing while looking down)Do you like me? Me:(smileing)Yes.If you would of read my diary you would of found that out. Michael:Yeah but you told me not to read it so I didn't. Me:Well thank you. Michael:So? Me:So what? Michael:(smiles and blushes)Will you be my girlfriend now? Me:(smiles and blushes)Yes! I wrapped my arms tightly around his neak and he wrapped his tighly around my waist.We satyed like that for over a minut.Then when we parted we froze there for a small moment still holding onto eachother then Michael slowly leaned in.I closed my eyes and felf his lips touch mine.Our first kiss.On the inside I was going crazy with joy.Its safe to say that the same was happening with Michael.When we had to part we both had smiles on our faces that went from ear to ear. Michael:(smileing)Come on. Michael grabbed my hand and we went downstairs. Me:Michael were are we goin'? Michael:I'm going to find my mother? Me:Why? Michael:Well its Friday and Firday is my off day so I'm gonna ask her can you spend the night over here with me. Me:Really?Will they let me? Michael:I don't know.That's what I'm gonna find out. Michael heard his mother on the phone in the kitchen with Joseph so we waited until the phone coversation was over.Befor we entered the kitchen Michael let my hand go so his mother woulden't find out about us. Michael:Hi mother.Was that Joseph on the phone? Michael's mother:Hi baby.Yes that was Joseph.He said he's no comeing home tonight because of work. Michael:Oh.Mother is it ok if I have a friend stay over for tonight? Michael's mother:Were is this friend? Michael:Right here. He turned around but I wasn't there.I was outside on the kitchen behind that wall because I was nervouse and a little scared because this was the first time I ever got to meet his mother.When Michael seen I wasn't there he walked out and got.Then he took me right into the kitchen. Michael:Here she is mother. Michael's mother:Oh.Is this Melodie Michael? Michael:Yep. Michael's mother:Well its nice to finally meet you.Do you know this boy has talked about you nonstop since the day he met you?There must be somthin' really special about you that he likes.He's never talked about a girl the way he talkes about you.I can see why to.Your a very beautiful young lady Melodie. Me:(smileing)Thank you very much Mrs.Jackson. I look over at Michael and I see that his face is bright red and he's looking down. Michael's mother:Your welcome darlin'. Michael:So can she say? Michael's mother:Yes. Michael:Thank you mother!Come on! Me:Were are we goin' now? Michael:To your house. Me:Ok.Wait Michael I have to ask my mom and dad can I say.My mom will let me but I don't know about my dad.Since I'm his only child and I'm a girl he's very protective. Michael:Oh I get it.(smileing)Daddy's little girl. Me:(smileing)Whatever. Me and Michael walked outside and headed torward my house.Befor we left out the gate Marlon ran up and started to sing. Marlon:Melodie and Michael sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g! Every one started to laugh.Me and Michael just took off and ran.We didn't stop until we were around the corner were nobody could see up.We both stopped to breath for a little while. Michael:(breathing heavily)Are you ok? Me:(also breathing heavily)Yeah.You? Michael:I'm fine. I started to walk again when Michael walked up beside me and held my hand.I acted like I didn't even notice it.I tried to hold my smile in but it came out anyway.Michael looked over at me and started to giggle a little.I got embarassed and looked away. We were 5 houses away from mine when the both of us seen Kate and froze. Michael:What should we do? Me:I don't know. Michael:Maybe we should keep walking and act like we don't see her. Me:I don't think we should. Michael:Come on. Me and Michael walked on.We were walking past Kate when she suck her foot out a tripped me. Michael:(helping me up and sounding angery)Why did you do that Kate!? Kate:Do what? Michael:You know what you did!Why are you being so mean to Melodie?You think I never see you but I do and I'm tired of it.Leave her alone! He held my hand again and started to walk on when he turned bach and said one more thing to Kate. Michael:Leave me alone to. Kate:But Michael! Michael ignored her and didn't look back. We finally got to my house.Befor we went in I had to thank Michael for what he done with Kate. Me:Michael,thank you. Michael:For what? Me:For helping me back there with Kate. Michael:Its no problem.What she did was wrong and I don't want you getting hurt.Are you ok? Me:Yes I'm fine. Michael:Good. We smiled at eachother and I gave him a quick kiss. Michael:(smileing)What was that for? Me:(smiles)It was my way of telling you thanks. Michael:I like your thank you's. Me:(laughing a little)Come on. We walked inside my house and I shut the door behind us. Mom:Melodie is that you? Me:Yes momma its me. Michael:Wow you have a really nice house. Me:Thank you.Its nothing compared to your though.Yours is beautiful. Michael:Thanks. Mom:Melodie who is that with you? Me:Oh.Its Michael. Mom:The one from school? Me:Yes mom.Thats the only Michael I know. Mom:(laughing while walking into the living room)Well hello Michael. Michael:Hello Mrs.Ryan. Mom:Its about time she let us meet you.All she does is talk about you. Michael:(looking at me and smileing)Really? Me:(trying to change the subject)Well the reason why we came here is so that I could ask you a question. Mom:What is it? Me:Can I spend the night with Michael at his house? Mom:Sure. Me:Really? Mom:Yeah. Me:What about daddy? Mom:I'll explain it to him when he gets home.If you want to go you better get your cloths and go now.You know how your father is.When you come bach down I'll drive you over so your don't have to walk. Me:ok mommy.Thanks. Mom:Your welcome. Me and Michael ran up the stairs and into my room. Michael:Wow.There's Jackson 5 all over in here. Me:Yeah.I told you I was a big fan. Michael:I can see that. Me:Well if you look around you can see thats its mostly you though. Michael:(smileing)I cae see that to. It took me about 5 minuts to get all of my stuff together and packed.After I got everything we went back downstairs and my mother drove us back over to Michael's house.We got out and the guard opened the gate and let us in.I said bye to my mom and walked up the drive way.All his brothers were still outside playing basketball.When they seen us they at looked again.But this time there were looking at my bag.
