All For Love(PART5) by Candice

I was getting a bit scared that Samone might find out so I decided to tear the piece 
of paper and burn it in the bathroom. I stayed there for a minute and before I knew 
it, I was already lighting up a cigarette. It really was shocking since I only lit up a 
cigarette when certain things made me think. â??Why am I doing this? Heâ??s just 
meeting up with me, Big deal.â? I was speaking to myself in the mirror again. I let out 
a deep sigh as I exhaled the smoke. â??What does he want from me anyway?â? I asked 
myself as I lit up another stick. I know I needed to kick off the habit, but what the 
hell. As I was about to take my first puff, my phone rang. I hurriedly grabbed it from 
my bag. â??Samone?â? I said as I picked it up. She was screaming for joy. â??Oh my god! 
He told me weâ??d have dinner later! Oh my god! I think heâ??s proposing!â? Samone was 
the usual girl who really had to say her feelings. â??Calm down, no need to shout it. 
Come on over, letâ??s talk.â? I said carefully. â??I canâ??t. I have to get ready for tonight.â? 
She said as she bid me goodbye. I shook my head as I threw my phone on the bed. 
â??Oh, Samone. I hope you know what youâ??re doing.â? I went back into the bathroom to 
finish up the fag I was holding.

That afternoonâ?¦

â??Candice!â? Samone was knocking on my door. Me, being the typical lazy girl, 
dragged myself out of bed to open the door. â??What do you want?â? I yawned. Samone 
looked gorgeous and no doubt Michael was going to fall in love with her more. She 
wore an emerald green dress along with some simple silver heels. I sat on the couch 
and before I knew it, I was lying down already. â??Hey, donâ??t be rude. Iâ??m here. Donâ??t 
sleep on me just like that.â? She pulled me up. â??Noo.. I want to sleep. Besides, I need 
to rest. Two long years of nonstop work drained me of all my energy and brain 
juice. Leave me alone.â? I pulled my hand away from her. Samone sat on the armchair 
across the couch and she was frowning at me. â??I came here to get some pep talk 
from you and here you are brushing me away.â? She said. I opened my eyes and let 
out a deep sigh. â??Alright, thatâ??s it. What do you want?â? I said as I sat up. â??I want you 
to tell me what to do.â? She said with a smile. â??Me? Iâ??ve never had any experiences 
with guys and youâ??re going to ask me? Why donâ??tâ?? you ask yourself?â? I said as I 
stood up. I went to the kitchen to get some energy drink because I felt too lazy to 
move or even talk.  Samone followed me around. â??Whatever, I want it from you.â? She 
said. I looked at her and I gave her â??the lookâ?. She stood silent for a moment and 
then she sighed, â??Fine then. At least wish me luck or something.â? She was smiling. I 
put the energy drink on the kitchen counter and gave her a hug. â??Good luckâ? I 
whispered. I went back into the bedroom and crawled back into the bed. The energy 
drink wasnâ??t kicking in yet and I thought maybe another nap would do best. â??Just 
lock the door when you go out!â? I shouted from my bedroom. I buried my head 
under the pillows and before I knew it I was sound asleep.

I woke up to the endless ringing of my phone. I jumped out of bed and was 
surprised to see that it was already almost midnight. â??Wow, what a nap.â? I said as I 
tried to look for my phone. I found it under the bed. I had 28 messages and 14 
missed calls all coming from Samone. â??What the hell?â? I heard myself say as I flipped 
my phone open. I opened to read the first message and there it was. It really did 
happen. They were already engaged.
