I woke up and Michael was beside me. We were both naked and his arms were around me. We mustâ??ve made love all through the night, â??Sleep well?â? He asked. I smiled and kissed him on the cheek. It was only 6am and dad was still asleep. I tried to stand up but Michael stopped me from doing so. â??Wait.â? He said. I looked at him and I asked him what he needed. â??Close your eyes.â? He said. I was giggling as I did this. â??What are you up to now?â? I closed my eyes and held his hand. Moments later he asked me to open it. â??Will you marry me?â? He asked as I opened my eyes. My eyes widened at the site of the engagement ring. â??Oh my god. Of course!â? I hugged him tight. â??This time it really is going to happen.â? I whispered these words into his ears. He looked at me and put the ring in my finger. â??A day never went by without me thinking of you. It hasnâ??t been the same without you. I missed you so much.â? He said. He was crying silently. I pulled away from him and gave him a passionate kiss. â??I love you so much.â? He said, stroking my cheek. I held his hand and gently kissed it. â??I promise you that this time, Iâ??ll never hurt you the way I did ever again. I will never-â? I put my finger against his lip and told him â??the past is the past. Letâ??s forget it and like what you said, weâ??ll start over again.â? He smiled upon hearing these words. One month laterâ?¦ Dad and I were already back in Michaelâ??s house and it was going great. Michael and I married each other secretly. It was a simple event in his home and it was just him and me. The media found out about what Michael and I had gone through including the miscarriage I had a few months back. As usual, we were back on the headlines again but now, we no longer cared of what the people said because we knew we were happy. One night while eating dinnerâ?¦ Michael took me out into the garden. â??What are we doing here?â? I asked. He kept silent. Minutes later the Christmas lights were already on and it was such a magical site. â??Dance with me.â? He whispered as he pulled me closer to him. I was blushing as he did this. â??Well, what are we going to dance to?â? I asked as I put my arms around his neck. He signaled someone to put the music on in the garden. Suddenly, FASCINATION by Nat King Cole was already playing. Michael put his arms around my waist and before we knew it, we were already slow dancing. â??I love you, Mike.â? I said, looking into his eyes. The garden was dimly lit and it was just perfect. Michael stroke my cheek. â??I love you more. Iâ??ll never ever let you go again. I promise.â? He said. We leaned in closer to each other and for some reason our dancing came to stop. Michael held my chin up and kissed me. I heard FASCINATION playing in the background but slowly as our lips intertwined everything else was gone and it was just the two of us. At that moment, there was no stopping us and it was sure that it was going to be forever. The feeling I felt from the start began to rush back and I felt myself blushing again. As we continued to kiss all the memories I had with him started to flash back in my mind. The first skip of heartbeat I felt when I saw him was fascination but clearly that fascination turned out to be true love in the end. THE END Hey everyone, this is the end of FASCINATION.
