How I became a fan of Mr. Jackson
Dear MJ Site, I love your website, and wanted to share my story on how I became a fan of Mr.Jackson. My father has always been a fan of his, and one day he got an album of his to our apartment. He wouldn't let me listen to it, but when he left, I figured I should listen to it, out of my 8 year old curiousity. I was shocked. It was different, fun, entertaining...better then the hip hop and main stream pop that was going on. Ever since, I have taken joy to all his songs, I even try to practice his dance moves. He gave me hope how cool it was to be original, and although today people are shocked to know I am a fan of his (with his controversial life), I'll still be a fan still of a man I later found out was a humanitarian. Did I mention now I'm 14? I hope one day I get to meet him, I have to move around a lot.
