Me and Michael : Kids in love. (Part 3)
(Part 3) A month had gone by and now it was April 2nd.Me and Michael had become the best of friends.We would always talk,joke,laugh,and play together.Every day I would right in my diary about what went on between us and how I would like him more and more each day. I had just awake and was getting ready to walk to school today because my father was already at work and my mother was getting ready to go off to her new job aswell.After I told my mother bye I went out the door and down the street.As soon as I turned the corner I heard someone from behind call out my name. Michael:(yelling)Melodie! Me:(turnes around and smiles)Hi Michael! I seen Michael running up to me so we could walk to school together. Michael:(finally beside me)I didn't know you walk to school. Me:Well I'm gonna have to now because my mother has a job and she can't drive me anymore. Michael:Oh.Well now we can walk to school together now.(smiles) Me:(smiles)Yep.Hey,were is Marlon? Michael:The 8th graders have to be to school befor us so he's already there. Me:Oh.I didn't know that. Michael:Yep. All of a sudden my diary fell out of my backpack and Michael picked it up for me. Michael:(hands me my book)Whats this? Me:(taking my book)Oh its nothing. Michael:Really?Sure looks like somthin'.Is it a diary? Me:(lieing)No. Michael:Yeah ok. Me:Really it isn't. Michael:Ok.I beleive you. Half way to school we seen Kate.I knew because of how close me and Michael were getting she didn't like me at all.When we got up to her she got right in between me and Michael.She acted like I wasn't there. Kate:(smileing)Hi Michael. Michael:(looking down)Hi Kate. Kate:So what are you doing today after school? Michael:Nothing. Kate:Would you like to come to the park with me? Michael:I can't. Kate:Why not? Michael:Because. Kate:You don't like me do you Michael? Michael:I do like you. Kate:No,I mean as a girlfriend. Michael:Oh...I'm so sorry but,well,I only veiw you as a friend. Kate:(getting upset)I knew it. Kate started to cry a little bit and ran off torward school.I coulden't help but to feel bad because when your feelings get hurt I know it dosen't feel good.Especially when there hurt by someone you like. Michael:I didn't mean to hurt her. Me:I know you didn't.You were only telling the truth.Sometimes the truth hurts. Michael:Yeah. Me:Michael? Michael:Yes? Me:(in a shy voice)Do you like anyone? Michael:(blushing)Yes. Me:Really?Who is she? Michael:I can't tell you. Me:Why not? Michael:Umm...I just can't. Me:Ok then. Michael:What about you? Me:What about me? Michael:C'mon Melodie.Don't you like someone? Me:(looking down blushing)Yes... Michael:Oh.And who is he? Me:Since you didn't tell me who you liked I'm not telling you.(smiles) Michael:(smiles)Ok thats fair. I just smiled at Michael because it was cute at how embarrassed he got when I asked him who he liked.We just kept on walking until we reached the school.We walked through the front doors and down the hallway until we reached our class.When we got there we sat down in our seats and continued to talk. Michael:I'm glad its Friday.I can't waite to get to art class. Me:Yeah me to.The art class is fun here. Michael:Yeah.I wonder what we're gonna do today. Me:Me to.Mrs.Dobbs is really nice.She's such a good artist and teacher to. Michael:Yep.I like how she can draw. Me:Me to. We sat there for a few more minutes until everyone was in the classroom. Mr.David:Good morning class. All of the class:Good morning. Mr.David:Ok now I need all of you to line up in a single file line so we can go to art class with Mrs.Dobbs. We all got out of our seat and lined up.I looked back a seen kate at the very end of the line.I could see the dried tears on her cheaks.I looked at Michael and I could see that he felt bad. When we reached the art class we all took our seats.In the art class there was one long table.The girls sat on the right side and the boys on the left.As always Michael sat in front of me but of corse I didn't mind.After we were all seated Mrs.Dobbs begane to speak. Mrs.Dobbs:Good morning everyone.(smiles) All of us:Good morning Mrs.Dobbs. Mrs.Dobbs:Ok today we are making friendship braclets.These braclets are goin' to be for your bestfriend. Me and Michael looked at eachother and smiled. Mrs.Dobbs:When you are done with your braclet you are going to put it on your bestfriend.Does everyone understand?(smileing) All of us:Yes. Mrs.Dobbs:Ok lets work! Mrs.Dobbs set out all types of great thing you could put on your braclet.There was chanes and strings you could make your braclets out og.I picked a chane since Michael is a boy.I could see he picked 3 strings wihch were yellow,orange,and white because he knew thoes were my favortie colors.He braded the strings together and put a M charm on it for Melodie.It looked beautiful.On mine I look A music not charm and also a M charm for Michael on it along with another charm on it that said best friends for ever.Then Michael reached over to me and handed me this half of a heart that said "best".He already had the other part on my braclet that said "friends".When you put the two halfs of the hearts togeher is spelled out "best friends". I really loved it and so did he.We looked at eachother but quickly looked back down because we got shy and embarrassed.We also blushes and we didn't want eachother to see our faces get red. Mrs.Dobbs:Ok class are we all done with our friendship braclets? All of us:Yes. Mrs.Dobbs:Ok I now want you all to stand and walk over to the person and put it on them. We all got up and walked over to our best friend.And of corse as you already me and Michael walked up to eachother.He put his braclet on me first that I put mine on him.I started to walk back to my seat when he grabbed my hand,pulled me back,and hugged me really tightly.I didn't care.I hugged him back and held on.I didn't ever wanted to let go.We got lost in our own worlds and kept on hugging eachother after everyone sat down.We were standing there in the middle of the floor higging eachother.Them we heard the whole class say "Ooo" and let go then we seen every pare of eyes in the class on us...including Mrs.Dobbs. Mrs.dobbs:Are you 2 ok? The both of us:(looking down)Yes. Mrs.Dobbs:Can you please take your seats now? The both of us:Yes. We quickly took your seat the the class laughed at us...except Kate. After class was over did 2 hours of work,went to luch,and as usual wen't outside.Me and Michael desided to go sit under this tall oke tree that was in the far top left corner of the playground. Me:Michael... Michael:Yes. Me:Can I ask you somethin'? Michael:It depends on what it is. Me:Its about what went on in art class today. Michael:Oh.I guess so then. Me:Ok.Why did you hug me like that? Michael:Its hard to explain. Me:Oh.You don't have to explain if you don't want to. Michael:Thank you.(looking at whats in my hand)Hey,isn't that the book you dropped this morning? Me:Yes. Michael:C'mon please tell me what it is. Me:(looking down and saying in a low voice)Its my...my...diary. Michael:Oh.(smiles)Can I please see whats inside of it? Me:No! Michael:Why not? Me:Because... Michael:Am I in there? Me:(lieing)Nope. Michael:(in a sad sounding voice)Oh. Me:Ok,maybe you are... Michael:(smileing)Really? Me:Yes... Michael:What does it say about about me? Me:I'm not telling you. Michael:Fine...So what do you want to talk about now? Me:I don't know.What about you? Just then we seen a car pull up infornt of the school.It looked a lot like my mothers car.Then my mom got out and walked into the school. Michael:Why is your mom here? Me:(looking puzzled)I don't know. Then we seen Mrs.Felix,the women at the front desk from the office,come looking for me.She didn't see me under the tree with Michael so she told Mr.David.He yelled out my name so I knew something was goin' on.The it popped right in my head,I forgot all about my doctors appointment today. Me:Oh I almost forgot.I had to go to the doctors today! Michael:Are you ok? Me:Yes.Its just a check up. Michael:Oh. Me:Bye Michael.I'll see you tomorrow. Michael:Ok Melodie.Bye! I got up and ran off with Mrs.Felix,went back to the classroom,got my things,and left with my mother...little did I know I left my diary back at school under the tree with Michael. To be continued...
