So Lovely(PART16) by Candice
Day #2 in Michael's house: It still wasn't a sunny day. Michael was devastated because he wanted to go out. During breakfast, we were talking about my job. "You haven't been attending your rehearsals. They might kick you out or something." He said. "Oh no they wouldn't. They're used to me not being there. I know I play a big part but it's been like this and well by the end of the show, I know I never let them down. Not even once." I was confident. Being named as the prima ballerina in theater was an honor and I knew that even if I didn't attend rehearsals regularly, I still managed to pull it off onstage. "Don't be to reliant on your title. You can lose that anytime. If they see you're not really working hard, they could replace you." He added. He was sounding like a father to me. "Me? Replaced? That would be impossible." I laughed it off. "It is possible." he was trying to burst my bubble. "No it isn't. Wanna bet?" I said as I finished off the bacon and the eggs. "What makes you say that anyway?" He asked. He was fooling around with me wasn't he? He was smiling naughtily at me. "Apparently, I just know." I said with a firm tone, my chin was up, just like a ballerina. "Okay. I believe you." He said. He was giving up and giving me the "hands down" notion. We finished breakfast and Michael decided that we stayed and talk more in the library. He guided me on the way. I noticed that we weren't really heading towards the library. Instead, we were heading down the direction going to his dance studio. "I thought we were going to the library?" I asked. "I changed me mind." He smirked. I looked at him and I thought- OH NO MICHAEL JACKSON, DON'T YOU EVER ASK ME TO DANCE IN FRONT OF YOU. I was right. We went inside and he left me in the middle of the dance studio. He turned the lights on and grabbed a chair. "Dance for me." He said. He was looking for some songs. "What? I won't. I don't want to" I approached him and sat on the floor beside him. "Why not?" He asked. "I don't know. I just couldn't okay? Not now." I was convincing him but he wasn't giving up. "That means you don't trust me enough to show me what you can do" he said, looking down on the floor. I was silent for a moment. Will I dance? I tied my hair into a high ponytail. "Alright, that's it. Just one song, okay?" I said as I went to the center of the dance studio. He smiled at me and clapped his hands. "Which song?" he asked. "Do you have Chopin's Nocturne in E flat major?" I asked as I prepped my feet to dance. I didn't have my ballet shoes on so I had to do extra effort to exert each step beautifully. He was shuffling through his CDs. "yes, I have it. Wait here." he said as he stood up. He went inside the music room to load the CD. Before I knew it, the music was already playing. I smiled at him and gave him a flying kiss. "Especially for you" i said as I did the first step. I did the solo that I mastered for the show. It felt good that despite me not being in rehearsals, I still knew how to do each step and each move with so much grace and so much soul. Michael was watching from afar and he was observing ever so keenly. The song was quite long but since I put up for it, I finished it. After this, I smiled at him and sat on the floor, stretching my legs. He stood up and applauded. "That was beautiful." he said as he approached me. He sat on the floor in front of me and leaned in to give me a long kiss. "Thank you" I replied. "I've always been into my kind of dance and it's amazing how ballet is so peaceful and yet it gives out so much life." He added. "It certainly does" I said as I let my hair down. "You look so lovely." he said as he reached out for my hand. He was kissing it. I've never felt such chemistry with a man before. He was so different. We stood up and made our way to the library. "So how long have you been dancing?" he asked. He was putting the fireplace on."Since I was 7. My mom enrolled me at our hometown and from that day on I knew I just had to live up to it and dance ballet for the rest of my life." I said. He was amazed at what he heard. "What great passion you have for ballet" he said as he sat down beside me. I moved closer and he put his arm around my shoulder. "My mother was an excellent ballet teacher. She too started dancing since she was 7 and because of her, I found myself. She taught me so much and I am very thankful for having her as my mother." I said as I let out a yawn. The fireplace's warmth felt good and it caused me to be a bit drowsy. "Where is she?" He asked. "She's gone. She died when I was still 16. She met a car accident." I felt a bit teary eyed as I recalled the most devastating moment of my life. "I'm sorry to hear that." he answered as he kissed me on the forehead. "What's done is done." I said. I was holding back my tears. For a moment, there was silence. "What do you want to do next?" he asked as he unwrapped his arm around my shoulder. He looked at me and gave me a warm smile. "You decide." I replied as I kissed him on the cheek. He grabbed me by the hand and led me down to the place wherein he created and pioneered his music. "I want to show you something" he said. I followed him and before I knew it we were already in his recording studio. "Wow. This is place is nice. This must have been where you created the magic in your music." I said. It was nice inside. The equipment was complete and I felt like I was in another place. He let me listen to some of his unreleased tracks and he even sang to me. He was singing BABY BE MINE, smiling at me while he did this. He was singing it acapella at first. He then put on a minus one and started singing to it once more. It was a great moment of sheer happiness and enjoyment. If there was a place called heaven, this was my own heaven on earth. He pulled me closer to him and kissed me. "You don't need to ask me to be yours. I'm already yours. I will always be yours and nothing will change that." I said. He smiled and embraced me. He kept on playing more songs and singing to me. It was fun and it was one of the most memorable.
