From Alicia to Ayanna,jada,kelly

on Friday,green block 5th graders,(including me)went to something called the Baylor Ropes Course. The whole first half of the day,we were doing teamwork activites. Then we finally got to climb. My class was on a really big pole thing that had a ladder at the bottom half, and the rest of the way,there were little staple things sticking out the side,and you climb up those. That is where the pole starts to wobble though. It looked like a really old wooden pole too. And not to mention the harness. We had to put on a bottom harness and a chest harness. The chest harness wasn't so bad, but the bottom harness was killin my crotch! So I climbed up the pole and made it to the top of the wobbly pole. there was a platform on it,and two people go at a time,and my friend Holly was up there.
I hitched my leg over the platform and put it back down. Holly said,"Come on Alicia!Grab my hand,you can do it!" And we were 40 feet in the air just to tell ya. I looked down and got freaked out. I almost started crying. then I started going back down. Then the helper dude said,"Come on!You got this high!You should just do it now!" And then all my classmates started yelling,"You can do it Alicia!And if you fall,Michael Jackson will be ready to catch you!" But I was scared silly. I went back down. Holly jumped,and you would have to try to catch one of those trapeeze things. Nobody did. I believe I could have though. I am very sad and feel very wimpy. But the other people who backed out,(Austin,Keaton,Kieshen,Chloe,and Madeline)Didn't even make it up the ladder. So i'm the bravest person who backed out I guess.
