Please vote - Kayla It was Monday morning once again. If you think about it, a week ago my entire life went downhill. I told Gia all about my hectic weekend yesterday. I told her all about my MJ and Ray drama. And she told me all about her week. She told me about everything I missed while I was in lala land, and her break up with Roc Royal ( that's why she was crying). The whole talk took over 6 hours but I didn't mind, I missed our talks. We both agreed that those boys ruined our lives and we wanted to go back to the good old days when it was me, her, and Brandon. Oh, and Jade. But in order to do that, I'll have to put behind all of my relationships with Ray and his crew. I barely spoke to Roc Royal, Princeton, and Prodigy anyways. And now MJ hates me. The only one left to leave is... Ray. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * I don't have any classes with any of them, so I had to wait until lunch to talk to Ray. I may sound like a fool right now, for breaking up with him for no reason. But I must protect my friendship with Gia. First and second period unfortunately went by quickly. I met Gia and Brandon at Gia's locker. Brandon: Hey Cierra. Long time no see. Like I said!!!! Brandon and I are perfect for each other. Too bad he's still dating that snobby stuck up bitch Jade..... Jade: Hey CC. How are you? She gave me a genuine smile. I was wondering why she was being so nice to me. But then I remembered our time in the office. I guess she really has changed. Me: I'm good. Sorry I haven't been able to catch up with y'all. I've been Jade: In jail? Yeah. We heard. I guess she hasn't changed at all. Gia: That was just a little misunderstanding. She actually didn't do anything. Brandon: Well, I understand. I knew you weren't a bad girl. He put his arm around me as we walked to the cafeteria. Jade caught up and put his other arm around her shoulder, glaring at me. Brandon: Aww, my two favorite girls. Brandon kissed Jade's cheek. We heard Gia clear her throat from behind us. Gia: What about me? Brandon was about to reply when Roc Royal appeared behind Gia scaring her. She immediately rolled her eyes. Gia: Roc, I've told you that this was the last time Roc Royal: Listen baby. I can't sleep, think, or breathe knowing that the prettiest girl in my life is mad at me. I really want you back, and this time forever, baby. He lightly pecked her on the lips. I heard " aww " come from behind me and I almost died for her, but I didn't. Because of our plan. Gia: Roc, just promise to never leave me again. Roc Royal: Baby, I promise Roc leaned in to kiss her again. This time the kiss was getting intense. Roc caressed her hips and she stroked her fingers through his short curly hair. The crowd started clapping and whistling. It was like he just asked her to the prom, but he didn't. All he did was changed his mind. Soon after, the crowd disappeared, I found myself making my way to the cafeteria again. I said " hey " to everyone that was there (which was everyone except MJ) and I dragged Gia to the girl's bathroom. Gia: Look, I'm sorry I forgave Roc. But did you see the look on his cute little face? Who could say no to that cutie? Me: Now what am I supposed to do? We're just gonna end up drifting apart again and I don't want that to happen Gia. She thought for a second, guilt written all over her face. Then she got an idea. Gia: We can double date. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * We walked back into the cafeteria and sat down in our normal spots. Ray, me, Brandon, Jade, Prodigy, Princeton at the end, Gia, then Roc Royal. MJ usually sits between Brandon and I, but today he was nowhere in sight. Me: Anyone seen MJ? Princeton: Single buddies til the end Everyone shook their heads, laughing. I felt Gia kick me from underneath the table. I looked up from my sandwich to see her eyeing me, then Ray. Roc Royal: Yo, Ray. I'm up for double dating. Are you? Ray looked as confused as everyone else around the table. Ray: Huh? Roc Royal: We can take our girls somewhere together. You know... Double dating. Ray: Sure, is everyone free tonight? Princeton sighed. Princeton: I'm always free I nodded at Ray. So did Gia and Roc Royal. I guess it's settled. We're going on a double date. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * After school, Gia and I were hanging out at my place. We both got a text from Ray and Roc Royal telling us to dress nicely and they would pick us up at 7. Nobody had seen MJ all day, so I guess he skipped which made me feel even worse about myself. But Gia told me to forget about MJ for tonight. I got dressed in a cotton candy pink dress and Gia wore a aqua blue dress. Roc Royal and Ray picked us up in a car that happened to be Roc Royal's. It was tight!!!! I hopped in the back with Ray and Gia sat in the front. Roc Royal: You look beautiful, baby He leaned over and kissed her. Gia: Thank you I looked over at Ray. He didn't even acknowledge me. He was just playing Temple Run on his phone. Roc Royal: You look beautiful too, Cierra Roc Royal had to speak on Ray's behalf. Ray snapped out of his game. Ray: Hey!!! She's my date. Gia turned around and rubbed my thigh as if saying, " Don't worry. He really does care about you". I'm just not sure if he really does at this point. We drove up to a familiar restaurant. The same one I went with MJ. Roc Royal: Were here Ray: Are you ready? I nodded as he stepped out of the car. Roc Royal got out and walked around the car to open the door for Gia. Gia: C' mon Cierra. Were here. She closed the door behind her. But I didn't get out. I was waiting for a gentleman to open the door for me. Suddenly, my door came open. I looked up to see Roc at my door, and Ray halfway in the restaurant. WTF!!!! Roc helped me out of his car and I gave him the same look I was thinking. Roc Royal: Don't worry. He's just being Ray. You're gonna have a great time. I took a deep breath. Me: I just hope you're right I would really hate myself if I made the wrong decision... Again!!!!! TBC
