Genie in a Vase III

Here's the new part I promised. :)

We get inside the diner. As Michael starts looking through his menu, 
I'm looking through my pockets. A shadow covers the table. I look up 
and it's Xionara holding out the compact vase.

"Looking for this?"

I narrow my eyes at her and take it. She smiles widely at me and 
pulls out a notepad and pen.

"I'm your waitress, Xionara. What drinks can I get you guys?"

How the hell does she have a job already? Well she is a genie. A 
very stressful genie..

"I'll have water," Michael replies softly.

She nods and looks at me.

"I'll have a sex on the beach. Rough day"

Michael laughs as she goes towards the kitchen. I pick up my menu.

"Rough day? What happened?" He asks.

"Well, you died and all," I mumbled.

"Pardon?"

"Nothing. I said I need Tylenol..And just some family stuff"

"Oh. Everything alright?"

"Yes. It's all good"

He smiled before going back to his menu. I figured out what I wanted  
And set my menu down.

"What's it like to be famous?," I ask.

He shrugs,

"Well I love it. Entertaining people is nice but off stage it's 
crazy. I can't talk to people normally," suddenly he smiles at me. 
"Except you. I'm surprised you haven't screamed already"

"Oh no. I have my respect for celebrities. I assume that would get 
annoying"

"Don't get me wrong I love the fans. I think it's great but I want 
to talk to someone about other things than autographs."

"I understand."

"You do?," he laughs.

"Yeah. I can imagine." I realize what he was insinuating and laugh 
it off. "I'm not famous or anything"

"You could be. You're beautiful"

I blush and look away.

"You too."

Did I really say that? Wow

"Sorry. I didn't meant that. I meant you're attractive"

"Thanks," he laughs more. Finally, Xionara comes back with our 
drinks. She takes our orders and goes back. Michael is not weird at 
all. He is SO nice. And he's so cute.

"Did you like the song today?"

"Yeah. It was great. What is it called?"

"Baby be mine"

I think about the song again.

"Well.. it has a great message"

I think I'm nervous. This is the only time I say things like this. 
I'm starting to like him. Maybe it was good to make that wish..

"How so?"

"Umm.."

I'd be nervous too. MJ is TOO fine. Lol anyways thanks again Kayla
