You Are My Life 9 (My Birthday)

My hand drifted to the other side of the bed feelin warm sheets I opened my eyes confused cuz mikey never got up this early I sat up and put on my silk robe mike was up to somethin it had been goin on the past days I just couldnt remember I brushed my teeth and I went to the kitchen...Happy Birthday Alana.

I jumped back by the loudness I saw my parents,my sis Tia,Stephanie,
and Michael's family even Joseph they decorated with my fave colors red and blue michael came to me and smiled.

A:Thanks guys I feel stupid I forgot its my birthday

J:Im glad your alright michael called  and told me what the doctor said about you not wakin up but im glad your okay

Janet smiled and hugged me tight I love her she's like a sister to me.

Everyone sat at the table as she lit the 2 and 5 candles on the cake it was decorated with pretty flowers and beads everyone sang "Happy Birthday" and then I made a wish and blew out the candles as everyone cheered and clapped.

Stephanie cut me a huge piece out of
the cake ontop of my piece sat a Hawaiian flower we passed cake down the rows and shared funny stories.

T:Present time!!!

Tia handed me the first gift I opened
the card and read it aloud...

"We get few chances in life to be happy today is one of those days believe in yourself and keep whats important and go for it. Happy Birthday -Love Mom,Dad, and Tia

I opened the present and it was a diamond necklace I hugged each one of them then I opened Steph's gift and pulled out a cute short nightgown and Steph winked at me and I couldnt help but laugh.

The last gift was michael's gift its a small box I opened to see an engagement ring and I saw mike take
my hand and got on his knee.

M:Alana your everything to me and I love you will you marry me

I was afraid if I opened my mouth I would scream I put my hand to my
mouth and began cryin.

A:Yes!Yes!

He slid the ring on my finger and I
