Tough Love Part 92; Part 4
Hey yâ??all, thank you for the votes Iâ??ve gotten on the last part so far. But Iâ??d like to ask you, please continue to come on this site because it has bright stories on here that are worth reading, and even updated stories. Like Iâ??ve said before, at the moment Iâ??m not as available because of school and its demands. If it wasnâ??t for that, Iâ??d type as frequent like I use to, but those were the easier days :D. the upside of this is I get a little more time to think, I guess. And I can leave you wanting to know more, but I know you nor I want to wait THAT longâ?¦. So, letâ??s get to it! ~Aariyan :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D : Chapter 92; Part 4 The Horse Incident I couldâ??ve gone to the same gift shop I had gone into before, but I didnâ??t want to grant myself the chance of bumping into Dylan again. I didnâ??t even know him that well, and I still had to call him first anyways. So to stay out of the lionâ??s den, I just decided on another gift shop. â??Youâ??re a very pretty lady. Why are you alone by yourself?â? I ignore him. Iâ??m not in the mood. â??Answer me, why you lookinâ?? alone?â? I roll my eyes. Man, only if I had my promise ring or the tape recorder. I couldâ??ve shown it to this taxi driver guy. He turns around and glance at me, so I patiently take a picture from my wallet and show it to him. it was a photo M.J. decided to take of us where he was obviously the kisser and I was the receiver. â??Oh,â? he just nods. I look out the window again. I even paid the guy another five dollars to get him to shut up and since I kinda hurt his feelings. I think he understood the hint. â??Okayâ?¦so what am I going to get him?â? I mumbled as I thought of M.J. I really wasnâ??t looking to get him a Polo shirt. I know he can have ALL the Polo shirts heâ??d ever want with the swipe of his own card, so I wanted to go more in-depth and get him something he wouldnâ??t even be expecting! Seems like from the divinity of God, I looked to my right, and I saw rosaries on display. Slowly and timidly, I walk over to this display, awed by the fact I just figured out what I wanted to get my boyfriend for Christmas. A rosaryâ?¦a Christian rosary. It seems you canâ??t get more religious than that, unless I got him a Bible or his hand in marriage for the future! Either way though, my gift was pretty close. â??What else could I get him?â? I ask myself. I look around the room, then remember he wanted a new skateboard, and even thought about a surfboard. But I wasnâ??t getting him one of those until he could balance more on the skateboard. After getting him some gifts, I get some stuff for Dani, Sherry, Pat, Donnie, and whoever else I missed. But I try not to go overboard because gift shops are typically high, and I could get some of that same stuff from Wal-Mart or wherever else. â??Hello?â? Iâ??m at a payphone near the gift shop, Tiki Shoppé, when I call Dylan Cooper. â??I was calling to ask about that party of yours.â? â??First tell me where youâ??re at. I donâ??t want to have this conversation with you over the phone.â? â??Looks like youâ??re going to have to,â? I assertively sigh. â??Where are you?â? he kept asking. â??Oh God!â? I say, all the way frustrated. And I tell him the street sign and reluctantly, the gift storeâ??s name. While waiting on him, I began to bite the inside of my cheekâ?¦. Oh boy, what would M.J. do if he knew about this?!! My worries led me to use the bathroom, but I STILL wasnâ??t calm all the way. So when I went outside with my gifts, Dylan had his foot on the brake while waiting on me. He helps me to put my gifts in the trunk. â??Any of those for me?â? he jokingly asks as he tries to lean over and peck me quickly, but I noticeably move my head back. He just chuckles and pulls off. â??Really Iâ??m serious. Did you get any of those for me?â? â??No, and if I would have, I would get them with cash.â? â??Oh! So you must pay with debit or somethinâ??.â? When I didnâ??t answer, he looks over at me, but donâ??t press the issue any further. Cooper takes us back to his place. â??Make yourself comfortable, sweetheart.â? He walks off again, and that always make me nervous because I never know what heâ??s up to. When I see he walk in a far side of the house, I donâ??t follow him, but I fix my neck to see him take off his shirt and change into another one. When I do though, I think I see a tattoo written on the side of his stomach. He looks up, so I have to quickly move out the way and plop back on the couch. Dylan come back into the room, lifts my chin, and gives me a small, but simple and cute kiss again. Then he whispers, â??When I kiss you, it makes my body shiver.â? He sits on the couch then and grabs for me. Why I didnâ??t get off his lap, I donâ??t know. But I began to feel weird. â??The party is tomorrow, at this place.â? He gives me a piece of paper with the address. â??Iâ??d really like it if you could make it. Itâ??s my Christmas party Iâ??m hosting.â? â??What time?â? â??Seven P.M.â? The last time I went to a Christmas party, I ended up in a closet with a guyâ?¦how much worse can it get? â??Are you hungry?â? he asks not too long later. I wasâ?¦a little again. So I turn towards him. â??A little, yeah.â? â??Well fine. Letâ??s go get dressed.â? He moves me off of him as he walks away. â??What do you mean get dressed? Iâ??m already dressed.â? â??Into something different. A little more formal. Come with me, I already picked something out for you.â? â??But Iâ??â? â??Youâ??ll like it. Just go on ahead and start taking off your clothes in the bathroom so I can give you your outfit.â? I donâ??t even know you!! But he was adamant about it, so I did my best to trust him. I went in the bathroom and hesitantly changed into my underwear. There comes a knock on the door. I crack it a little. â??Here it goes,â? he hands me this hanger and shoes. â??I did my best to get you best shoe fit.â? I grab for it, and after I lock the door, my mouth is agape as Iâ??m face-to-face with this GORGEOUS red dress that youâ??d go tango dancing in with really thin straps. The dress looked too sophisticated even for me. And it was long too, past my knees, so that was a plus. My heels also had a strappy design on the foot itself, and was silver. Black probably would have been better, but what the heck, I didnâ??t pay for this. â??So how am I going to do my hair for this?â? I question myself. My hair is already short, actually shorter, so how am I going to necessarily pile it up on my head. Cooper knocks again. â??Bobby pins and stuff are in the drawers.â? â??Thank you.â? â??Un-huh.â? I was basically clean and didnâ??t have to shower again, so I gracefully change, and put on some more deodorant, which was provided as well and was unused. I even patted a little baby powder on myself. When I was done with all that and polishing my nails, I do grand finale by pinning my hair up the best I can. I open the bathroom door with a Wal-Mart bag with my previous clothes, the heavy boots included. Dylan is dressed with black slack pants, a black dress shirt, black shoes, and even a black belt strapped around his waist. When he looks over at me, he clears his noticeably clears his throat, looks away, looks back at me, then look away to his right and smiles to himself a little. When Cooper looks at me again, he just beams at me, and when I get right in-front of him, he pulls me in and gives me such a passionate kiss on the lips, that I TRULY felt like he was treating me like his girlfriend that heâ??s been with for a long time now. But I wasnâ??t that sure if I wanted to feel that mature. â??Ready to go?â? he whispers to me. â??I donâ??t know,â? I truthfully shake my head. He bends down again and kisses me. â??Letâ??s go,â? he whispers as he takes me hand and lock up the house. Cooper opens and closes my door for me. He even put my bag of clothes in the trunk for me. The ride to the restaurant is a quiet one. I could tell the both of us were quiet with our thoughts. There was even a quiet, nervous vibe in the car. And the only little peeks I would DARE get of him were the side of his face. Thatâ??s when I spotted a brown beauty mark on his chin as he quietly drove. I look at the sign of the restaurant. â??TGIFriday!â? I yell out as I start to laugh. Dylan softly laughs with me. â??We got all dressed for TGIF?â? â??I know how youâ??re a simple girl.â? He looks at me and smile. He turns off the car, and as I try to get out, he tells me to â??hold my loadâ?, and opens my door me again! â??Here, wear this jacket over you.â? Cooper says as he gets one from the back of the seat and helps me get it on. â??Come on.â? he whispers. When we get into the bistro, itâ??s dark. And Dylan had apparently made observations. â??Table or booth?â? â??Table.â? â??Booth.â? We say at the same time, but Iâ??m the one who voted for booth. Dylan was gentleman enough to choose booth for me. But as we began to walk deeper into the building, I could sense a certain resentment from some of the customers. More than likely it have to be because of our â??colorâ? difference. â??A seat for you maâ??am and mister.â? â??Thank you,â? I politely say, but I donâ??t get an answer. When the man walks away, Dylan says through his teeth, â??Trust me, ignorance donâ??t pay the bills.â? So I guess â??ignoranceâ? doesnâ??t get the job done. I give him a beaming, closed-tooth smile, and look down at my menu when I was given one. But as we waited for our drinks and was talking a little, I felt a little uneasy because M.J. and I went to one in California as a part of our first date. When weâ??re finally given our food, I look over at Dylan, whose drinking his tea â??and being a gentleman about not drinking on the first dateâ?¦.Wa-wait a MINUTE! A DATE?!â??while I have my Dr. Pepper, I smile. â??So, I remember you said you had a brother. Who is he?â? â??Orlando.â? â??Orlando?â? I repeat. â??Yeah, Orlando. My little brother.â? â??How little? Like whatâ??s his age?â? â??Why heâ??s around your age.â? â??So two Greek brothers?â? â??Yep,â? he smiles. â??Two CANADIAN brothers,â? he reminds me. After not saying much for a little, Dylan tries to spark up a conversation with me. â??Remember when I saw you that time in the hospital that time, I saw you in your other uniform. So you use to be a security guard for a bank or something?â? â??I was more than that,â? he says in an confident tone like I shouldâ??ve already known that. â??I was a guard for ARMORED TRUCKS.â? Few seconds of silence, â??â?¦Ohh! WOW! Thatâ??s umâ?¦amazing.â? â??Yep, I know. And it was impressive to your father to let him know that I could hold down my own with a gun.â? Right after Dylan mentions my father, I could tell that it made BOTH of us uneasy. Soon after, he orders a chocolate brownie dessert with black syrup all over it. He tries feeding it to me, but I donâ??t get too much of it. He pays for the meal as I quickly glance at the receipt: $43.57. â??What time is it?â? â??Umâ?¦7:14.â? He says as he looks at his watch. â??Oh shit,â? I barely whisper. â??What, need to get back to your other groupie?â? I look over at him as I could tell he was just kidding, but I know if he was Michael, I know I couldâ??ve overreacted. But I really donâ??t know Dylan that well for that. â??I need to change back into my clothes.â? â??And leave these with me?â? he raises his right eyebrow as he talks about the clothes, and the bobby pins, which my hair was pinned-up. â??That WOULD be nice. I usually donâ??t even smell like this,â? I said referring to the fragrances he left for me. â??Well I wonâ??t have you changing inside TGIF, so youâ??re going to do it back at my place.â? â??Fine,â? I knew like Michael and any other guy, Dylan meant what he said, and he even insisted it, so I followed in suit. I snatched the clothes off as fast as I could, not even trying to marvel over my outing with him. I even showered to get the fragrances off. I just didnâ??t want Michael to know. I already knew I would catch hell from being inexcusably out for so long. Even my excuse like â??Oh I was out because I wanted to mediate,â? wouldnâ??t work with Michael. I already just KNEW that. So when I walk out the same bathroom I was in earlier to tell Dylan bye, I point my finger in his chest, â??And this isnâ??t considered a date eitherâ?¦.Justâ?¦just an outing.â? â??Yeah, whatever you want to call it, love.â? He pulls me in and kissed me again. But I pull from him. â??Cooper, I already have a boyfriend.â? I say as I start to tremble. â??Donâ??t tell me itâ??s Michaelâ??â? â??No, itâ??s not Michael. Itâ??s someone else at my school.â? He looked a little hurt in the face. â??I just know we canâ??tâ?¦we canâ??tâ?¦CONTINUE this.â? â??But you went out with me just then.â? â??But youâ??re twenty-twoâ?¦Iâ??m sixteen. This canâ??t work.â? I walk around him to go outside. â??Did you call for me a taxi?â? â??No,â? he annoyingly says. â??You know, thatâ??s fine,â? I mumble as I remember that itâ??s best that I get a lift ANYWHERE from here. For all I know, word could get around and get back to Michael. I donâ??t want to deal with that shit. However, I call from his house and before I leave, Dylan looks remorsefully in my eyes. â??Remember what you have here,â? then he pulls me in again as Michael, then M.J. starts to creep in my memory and I feel bad. So as I stand on the corner by a store alone, I feel better as Iâ??m leaving from Cooper because I knew I didnâ??t have much business being there. As I was standing there, I spotted this black, jean jacket. I go to buy it with a pair of lace black underwear. This just seems to be the ensemble for my outfit for Cooperâ??s party tomorrow. But as I slid in the back of the taxi, I feel a little at uneased as I remember he mentioned that his brother, his LITTLE brother, was thinking about joining the armyâ?¦hunh. Where have I heard that before? (And yes, I DO say that with sarcasm). I look at our beach house, feeling like Iâ??d rather run and dive under the sea than go back into that houseâ?¦.But I knock on the doorâ??to stall for timeâ??then ranged the doorbell. For some reason, Michael is taking a long time, and I start looking over my shoulder as I felt unsafe. The door opens as I was still looking over my shoulder. I turn to Michael, who is expressionless, but pissed nonetheless. I began to adapt to that knowledge. â??Where the Sam heck WERE YOU?!â? he asks as I walk across the threshold. â??Out shopping like I said, buddy.â? I try my best to smile it off. â??I even got me something,â? and I showed him the vest. â??Iâ??d be a fool, Lyric, to actually believe you ONLY went shopping. Where ELSE did you go?â? â??Nowhere, dang Michael. Canâ??t a girl get a day to herself?â? â??What, from earlier today?â? Then I hate to say this, but I guess I can play off this sympathetic role about using my rape story to isolate myself from Michael for so long. â??Yeah, that too,â? I go to my room to sit my stuff down. â??AAHH!â? I scream. â??AAHH!!!â? I keep saying. Michael comes in after me. â??WHAT?!â? â??LOOK!â? I point as he looks over my shoulder. â??What the?!â? TERMITES were ALL on my carpet, seemingly like they were EVERYWHERE! I began holding on to Michael, oh God, I was THAT disgusted. Michael closes the door, â??Let me call the exterminator.â? I have the bags in my hand and throw them on the couch as he calls. â??Theyâ??ll be here in about thirty, but I told them it was URGENT and it was A LOT of them, so hopefully theyâ??ll be here in twenty or less.â? â??Shoot, I HOPE so.â? While we waited, Michael and I checked all in the refrigerators, making sure there were no termites or anything else in the refrigerators, in HIS room, or in the pillows underneath the couch, or anyone where else. Even the back of the house was checked. But we couldnâ??t find any other damn termites, but ONLY in MY room. I SWAER to YOU! Three came to check out the mess. â??My stuff is in there,â? I basically whine. â??Well after we investigate the room, weâ??ll allow you to take some of your stuff out, deal?â? One of them says. â??Deal,â? I unexuberantily say. â??And you REALLY need to call your mom back. Sheâ??s getting pissed at me, I can tell.â? Michael whispers in my ear as he pulls me aside. So I make the phone call I donâ??t even want to make. â??And when I saidâ??â? â??GO call your mom,â? Michael insists, so I do, though he TOTALLY cut me off. And while the exterminators checked out my room, Mom was pleasantly a little easy-going with me, which was MUCH needed. I just told her I was Christmas shopping all say, which was basically my excuse to Michael too. â??You said you needed to get something out of your room, right?â? another exterminator man says. â??Yes,â? of course I WOULD. What you ACTUALLY think I want to mooch or leech off of Michaelâ??s stuff. So I grab for my suitcase and get my other stuff out the closet and drawers. Iâ??m even scared to go in my bathroom and grab for my stuff. â??Maâ??am you must hurry so they wonâ??t get out.â? Though an exterminator was at the doorway, with Michael standing with him too, to make sure no bugs got out or went into my stuff or if any got on me, I had to hurry up and of course left some of my stuff in the room, but I got my suitcase out and a few hygiene things. â??Uh maâ??am, you probably donâ??t want to use your toothbrush either.â? So I drop my toothbrush, with its holder covering over it, in the trashcan and walk out the room as they close it after themselves. â??Now, youâ??ll probably want to leave the house for a little so you wonâ??t have to be here as we mill around her room to clean this mess up.â? I look at Michael and whisper, â??Sounds like a good idea.â? â??And after this, you might want to get your ENTIRE carpet cleaned again.â? â??No, Iâ??ll get the person, who I rented this from to clean the carpet. It had to be damaged before I got it.â? â??Just a suggestion,â? the man puts his arms up to surrender. Michael pulls me to the side. â??Well what can we do as we wait?â? I donâ??t want to go to the beach again because of what happened the last time. â??I hear the water is warm,â? one of the men says. â??Well it canâ??t hurt us if we do,â? Michael smiles. I shake my head, but I drag my suitcase to his room. â??Iâ??ll get changed first,â? I tell him, then he locks the door after me. When Michael took me shopping back in California before we got out here, I chose this beautiful, royal purple two-piece bikini that looked a little lacy as well and fancy, and even girly. I did my best to lotion all over, then I put shorts on and a T-shirt as I swapped with Michael. This meant I waited for him in the living room as he changed in his room. â??Ready?â? â??Yep. Is Fernando out there?â? I ask. â??You know it,â? Michael smiles. Ironically, weâ??re at the same beach. Michael decides to take off his shirt in the limo, so I stripped all the way down to my bikini as well. I had gotten out of the limo when Michael had basically ogled at me. â??Come on,â? I grab his hand as I ignore him. â??But Iâ??m not getting my hair wet,â? I say as we start walking. â??Then why go to the beach.â? I shrug, but then I see aâ?¦white horse on the beach with its owner. â??Look Michael!â? I say as I point towards them. â??I LOVE horses. I always wanted one.â? â??Oh no Lyricâ?¦,â? he mumbles because he knows I want to go towards it. â??Only for a little. Come on.â? I pick up my pace as I tug onto his arm. The horseâ??s owner looks at us. â??Youâ??re interested with the horse?â? she knowingly says. â??Very much so,â? I could barely get out. â??Want to pet him?â? â??Please.â? I ask. The woman steps back as she lets me. â??Iâ??m going to go get her a carrot so you can feed it to her.â? â??Thank you.â? â??Stay here Cheyenne,â? the lady tugs on the horseâ??s rein and she gave it to me and Michael. â??Donâ??t even think about riding her,â? Michael tells me. â??Oh you know I am.â? I smile back at him, then stuck my tongue out to him. When the woman comes back to hand me the carrot, Michael walks off closer to the water. â??Sheâ??s beautiful. Where did you get her from?â? â??Oregonâ?¦.I know youâ??re thinking where do I get the idea to move a white mustang from there to here.â? she shrugs and smile at me. â??I live hereâ?¦seasonally. And I didnâ??t want to leave more horse.â? I nod, letting her know I understood. Then the lady, named Stella, called for Michael to come back. She was going to let me have a ride, but when she learned I wasnâ??t as experienced, and I wasnâ??t a polo star, she gets Michael to ride the horse with me. I could tell he was a little uncomfortable, but Stella stayed with us she had Cheyenne walk under us. After doing that for about five minutes, Michael asks me if it felt I was fine enough to try it on my own. I excitedly tell him yes. Stella stays close by me for a little longer until she trusts me enough to walk with Cheyenne. Yes, I got my toes deep in the sand that was cooling down, but it felt good to be walking with her. When I walk Cheyenne back to the meeting spot, I get back on her as I was being to get her to trot. â??Wait, what are you doing?â? Stella asks. â??Nothing, I just think Cheyenne trusts me.â? I smile as I pat the horse. I try to get her to started up again by lightly patting her on the Heine with my left foot. She starts to move like normal, but all of a sudden, Cheyenne panics and lunges back. â??WHOA EASY GIRL!â? I have to fuss at her. But that only seems to make Cheyenne more unruly, because she does it again. â??CHEYENNE!â? I scream at her. But this time, she throws me back so hard that I hear a quick SWOOSH, then Iâ??m lying straight on the sand. Before I get to register anything else, I see Cheyenne over me, then her hoof. A crashing blow falls upon me. â??AOWW!â? I bloodied scream. This UNIMAGINABLE pain SOARED through my leg, and all of a sudden I began to feel numb. I believe my body went into shock. â??LYRIC!â? Michael runs to me as Cheyenneâ??s hoof was about to come upon my same leg again, but I sort of feel Michael drag me away from her as her foot surely did hit the ground again. â??Iâ??m so sorry,â? I faintly hear the lady say. If she have some kind of moral conscience, Iâ??m sure sheâ??s trying to calm her horse. â??Well call the ambulance after you calm your horse, PLEASE!â? this is the first time Iâ??ve heard Michael being this spiteful on my behalf. â??Okay, okay,â? I keep hearing the lady repeat. â??Lyric, Lyric, donâ??t black out on me. Weâ??re going get the ambulance for you, okay. Everything is going to be fine.â? â??Okay,â? I barely whisper. And when the red and blue lights came from the ambulance, I still couldnâ??t believe they were for ME. The whole time though, Michael held my hand as we got there. I was immediately brought into a doctorâ??s room. He examined my leg, which was blue, purple, and even purple. â??Try to move your leg the best you can sweetie.â? So I do, but it takes all the strength Iâ??ve got left it seems. Plus he had to hand me a jacket since I still had my bikini on. Michael told me he was in the corner as he filled out some of my paperwork for me. â??It doesnâ??t look like she needs surgery, but she DEFINITELY will need to wear a cast.â? â??WHAT?!â? â??Lyric!â? â??Sorry,â? I say as I look at Michael, then Dr. Kiko. â??Could she request a house doctor if she wanted?â? â??Oh certainly, but she canâ??t leave first without me cleaning this wound and getting her cast, so itâ??ll be an hour or two to the most if all goes good. But Iâ??m going to call my assistance to get her stuff prepared since Iâ??ve checked her blood and everything else.â? â??Okay,â? Michael nods and goes back in the corner. I guess heâ??s too agitated to sit. â??But you can go on ahead and request a doctor Michael. I have my own recommendations, but thereâ??s the phone book if you need it.â? Dr. Kiko points to his on his desk as Michael grabs for it. Kiko also tells Michael the people he recommends. Dr. Kiko transfers me to another room as he does fix my leg. It was about eleven when he finally says I could leave, but said I would need to be in a wheel chair or on crutches for about three to five weeks. â??This crunch with that horse was very ugly Lyric, but indeed your legs have some potential. As long as you sterilize it like I tell you and take it easy, you should be fine. Okay?â? then he smiles at me. â??Yes sir.â? I weakly smile back. After Michael gets back in the room, Dr. Kiko tells him the same thing, and asks him with a broad smile if he found the person he needed to find. Michael smiles back. â??Yup, I got Dr. Newman.â? â??Oh heâ??s great. Heâ??s one of my favorite.â? â??Then thatâ??s good,â? Michael smiles. â??How youâ??re feeling?â? he says as he turns his attention towards me. I simply shrug my shoulder a little. â??Loopy,â? I sloppily says. â??I gave her Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) because she was in a hell-a lot of pain, and I knew she needed it chronically.â? â??Chronically?â? Michael asks. â??Her chronic pain. Her CONSTANT pain,â? Kiko clarifies even more for Michael. And while we sat there, waiting for me to get discharged, I filled in any other gaps Michael left unanswered for me, and I signed all the spots I needed to. â??Good luck Lyric.â? â??Thank you Doc. Youâ??ve been good to me.â? I say as Iâ??m wheeled out by Michael and waving to the people good-bye. Fernando was waiting for us right in-front of the Kuakini Health System hospital. The road home is a little longer, but we get there, and Newman is there as well. â??I forgot about the exterminators, but Fernando held down the fort for me.â? â??Things are much better in there, but advise you donâ??t go in there really at all for the next two to three days.â? â??Oh, more time restrictions,â? I lazily say. â??Oh man what happened to her.â? â??Horse accident,â? Michael says as he wheels me further into the living room. â??Well Iâ??ll charge you less since that happened,â? I heard the leading man say, but Michael shakes his head. â??I got it,â? he whispers. And I watch him pay them in cash. â??Receipt please.â? And he gets one, showing he paid. Once the exterminators, the doctor instructed me, Michael, and Fernando on how to deal with my condition. â??Rests will do her some good right now so her body can repair its tissues and such. But I wonâ??t administer her any more medicine right now because she already has enough doped in her, and itâ??s going to work in her favor because sheâ??s going to get a lot of sleep out of it.â? Dylanâ??s party. â??WHAT! I CANâ??T!â? â??Yes you can, and you WILL Lyric. Now Michael, you donâ??t mind if she uses your bed, or do you prefer the couch? I say the bed where thereâ??s more room.â? â??Sure Dr. Newman. Sheâ??s welcomed into it. And Iâ??ll just sleep on the couch.â? â??Sounds like a plan.â? Then Newman looks at me. â??But if I say youâ??ve healed enough and youâ??re room is back intact, then Iâ??ll ask you if you could give Michael his bed back.â? He smiles warmly at me. â??And I see you got your bath out the way.â? â??Yes sir, the best I could while I was there.â? Newman helps set me into the bed so Michael and I would know how properly do it. But before he goes, I hear him whisper to Michael, â??Now usually, I would recommend my patients to go somewhere else if termites were just exterminated in the same environment, but since I trust that you know how to stay clean, I think youâ??ll be fine.â? â??Thereâ??s even plastic separating that part of the house Doctor Newman.â? â??There is?!â? I could tell he was surprised by Michaelâ??s cleverness. â??Yes sir. The guys recommended it, and I agreed.â? Oh, well the men were smart about it too. â??Here, let me go show you.â? Ten minutes later, I hear the doctor finally leaving. Fernando had already left. How are you feeling?â? Michael asks. â??Bad.â? â??Well let me help you feel better.â? He gently lays my head on the pillow in the middle of the bed. â??Itâ??s best that youâ??re in the middle of the bed,â? heâ??d told me because he knows I have a tendency to lay on the LEFT side of the bed, but since my leg, which is the left, is in a cask, I virtually have no choice. I even tried asking Michael what he did about Stella or what to tell my parents, but he just tells me to go to sleep and weâ??ll deal with it when I wake up. So I basically fell asleep until I heard the bathroom door open for the second time, and Michael had took his own shower. He tried camping out on the couch, but I had called for him. â??Yes?â? â??Could you share the bed with me so I wonâ??t feel so bad?â? â??You know what the doctor said.â? â??But it canâ??t affect that much.â? â??I can sleep on the floor.â? I shake my head no. â??Lyric, I want you to heal well, and wither way, I canâ??t sleep at the foot of the bed or I might kick you by accident, and I donâ??t want to feel obligated to leave me room in the bed.â? When I donâ??t say anything, Michael makes the decision for us. â??Iâ??ll sleep on the floor for us.â? He kisses my forehead, and indeed, he gets his stuff from the living room, and as I keep the TV on in the room, I unknowingly fall asleep while Michael is devotedly on the floor just for me. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D : Whoa. Wasnâ??t expecting that, huh? Now you see all Iâ??ve been holding :) It was like Now or Never, Iâ??m GOING to post this. So I finally do :) ~Aariyan
