Michael: Gabby?
I looked up at him and our eyes connected like they used to do. 
Me: It's Dr.Mendez now 
Michael: Wow...You look amazing. You haven't changed a bit.
Me: Neither have you.
Michael: What happened to you? It's like you just disappeared off the face of the 
earth...
Me: It's a long story!
Michael: Knowing me...I like long stories.
Me: Mike...you go into surgery in a little bit and I don't wanna cause you to have a 
stroke or a heart attack before it even happens.
Michael: Aww... It can't be that bad
Me: (thinking) That's what you think
Angie walked in on us, holding Paz's hand.
Angie: This cutie was looking for you Gabby
Michael just stared at her.
Michael: She's a cutie. Hi sweetie!
Paz: Whoa! You're Michael Jackson! Why are you in a hospital instead of being 
chased around by a bunch of girls?
Michael:(giggles) She's cute. I'm in here because of a little accident. What's your 
name? 
Paz: Paz Mendez 
Michael: Is "Paz" Spanish?
Paz: Yes...My mommy told me that it means peace.
Michael: That's interesting.
Paz: Mommy...Â¿cuÃ¡ndo empiezan a repartir helado? (When do they start serving 
the ice cream?)
Me: Right now...Go and get you some.
Paz: Okay...Bye mommy! It was nice meeting you Michael!
Michael: You too sweetie!
The room was silent after Paz left the room. It was just awkward until Michael 
broke the silence.
Michael: So...When did you become a mommy?
Me: Ummmm... the day she was born
Michael: When was that?
Me: Michael you never change.
Michael: What do you mean?
Me: You ask a lot of questions.
He started giggling. Then I noticed that he was looking at my hand.
Michael: Sooo...You're married.
Me: Ummm...Yea.
Michael: Since when?
???: Mr Jackson, it's time for your surgery
Thank you Nancy!!! I knew that Michael was starting to catch up on something. 
I'm glad he was stopped before he could figure out anything.
Michael: So Gabby, will you be in here afterwards?
Me: Maybe. Good luck on your surgery!
He watches me exit the room. This is so complicating. My ex boyfriend/father of 
my child is in my work place. Michael is a very smart guy so it shouldn't take him 
long to figure out about Paz. I just hope he doesn't make a big fuss over it.
