Back Into Time *1*

Hello, since this site has literaly become a ghost town, I 
decided to make a story. Anyways, my name is April. I am 
hispanic/ latina. And yes, I am very proud of it. I'm mexican 
american, also a little italian. I live in Chicago which is the 
best city in the world, yeh I brag. Lols. Anyways, I hope you 
guys like this story! Theres already a story called this, but 
I'll make the story way different, sorry Nadirah! Lols. Anyways, 
Imma shut up and get started. ;) Oh and.. Iâ??m going to be using 
some spanish, so thereâ??s a dictionary for spanish at the end of 
the story.

I hopped onto my momâ??s car and took my mp3 player out, connecting 
it to the radio so I could hear it at full blast. My mom got in 
the car next to me. â??So, where are we going, Mom?â? I asked her.

â??April, you know where, mi hija.â?

â??Grocery store?â? I asked.

â??Si, of course.â? My mother put some lip stick on her chapped, yet 
super pink lips.

She was 36 years old, but she looked super young. She was a 
single mother, and I guess we can say we were actually living in 
a good place, with good money, and lotâ??s of peace. My great 
uncle, Drew Felix Jefferson, is one of the richest people on 
Earth, he died when he was 84 years old and he gave me and my mom 
all his riches, his house, and everything he had. 
 
 Anyways, my mom fractured her arm about a year ago, so she 
couldnâ??t drive anymore. My uncle Phil, thought me how to drive 
and Iâ??ve been taking my mom everywhere she wants.

I drank from my Pepsi, which I took with me, and started the 
car, putting it on reverse and getting us out of the driveway. I 
unplugged my earbuds from the radio and listened to what they 
were saying.

â??Important news to all Michael Jackson fans. Michael Jackson has 
died today from a heart attack at 2:26 pm. The brother of the 
legend, Jermaine tells us all.â?

I gasped. Michael Jackson was my idol and a great inspiration.

Suddenly, Jermaine Jacksons voice filled our car. â??I was coming 
into Michaelâ??s room and I didnâ??t see him, until he was on the 
floor, and he wasnâ??t breathing. I called 911 immediately and they 
took Mike to the hospital and.. the only suspect we thought did 
it was his doctor. At around 2:15 pm, he wasnâ??t breathing at all, 
he wasnâ??t moving and his eyes were closed. And at around 2:26 pm, 
Michael died.â?

â??Oh por dios, how awful,â? mom said, looking at me.

I nodded, with my eyes getting a little watery. Michael Jackson 
was gone, which meant my This Is It tickets would have to be 
returned, and I would have to cancel my trip to London, all to 
see him.

Once me and my mom reached the grocery store, some kids were 
outside the door, selling Michael Jackson t-shirts, books, 
pictures, and other things.

â??I want to buy some stuff. You go on ahead, Iâ??ll meet you 
adentro,â? I said, trying to smile.

I came back into the grocery store with a shirt that said: 
â??Michael Jackson Gone Too Sone August 21st 1958 - June 25th 2009â? 
and one of his biography books.

When I came back home, I cried face first into my bed. I hugged 
the biography book close to my chest and then when I woke up, it 
was 1982.
