What They Didn't See..Part 1; Preface
It's Death again â?? He's always there â?? Watching, waiting â?? e'er the stare! Every time I look behind Or reach to pull the window blind, I catch a glimpse of grubby hood â?? A little clue to where he stood; The glint of light that caught the scythe. Perhaps if I could pay a titheâ?¦ But O! no use, he'll never go. "Victoria?" Seventeen-year-old Jasper called out aswell. "Where could she be?" "Alexis, you don't think she has gone off somwhere do you?" "Where else could she have gone?" "We need to find her quickly before it gets dark." "I know this." Alexis said, holding onto Jasper's arm. "Mother must be so worried." "Don't worry," Jasper assured her. "Well find her. I promise." "I hope you're right." "I am." Alexis and Jasper continued on with their search for young Victoria. The sun began to go down faster, and faster, and faster as the teenagers kept on their way in finding the young girl. Alexis began to worry, her heart beating and threatening to pop out of her chest at any given moment. "Jasper, where could she be? It's getting late...I'm scared." Jasper didn't anser, but kept Alexis close to her as they began walking in the forest. He wouldn't allow Alexis to see, but he worried over the young child his self. As the sky became pitch black, both teens gave up the search for young Victoria. Try as they wish, they wouldn't have found her in the dark forest...even with the most skilled animal they could find. As morning dawned, everyone in the town teamed together to find the young child; they found nothing but heartbreak to tell Lady Evan of her youngest child. Years came and went, still no sign of Young Victoria. People, and even her family, assumed the wrost and just believed that she was dead. And the day of Victoria's birthday...some say Lady Evan died of a broken heart, mourning the lost of her child. What happened in the forest outside of the Evan's house hold held concern, fear and mystery as the years went on. What did happen to Victoria Evan? Why did she dissapear suddently that fateful day? All these has questions have been locked away for many years. That was until now. The questions aren't the bad part of the mystery...the bad part is... What they didn't see...
