Prom - Intro

Kate sat down on the bench outside school, and opened her book. She was reading a book called :Overcrossed: It was about a guy named Kristen who was kissed by an angel, but then the angel got kicked out of heaven, and into a stranger's body.

"Good book, huh?" someone said. Kate looked up. There was one of the students sitting next to her. And plus, it was Josh Henry. One of the hottest boys at Ridgeway High. "Are you talking to... me?" Kate said, turning around, making sure no one was there. "I don't see anyone else, now don't I?" Josh said.

Kate smiled, and said, "Yeah, it's an awesome book." "You can't put it down, right?" Josh said. "Yeah, it's that g-" Kate was interrupted by a loud noise. She looked to her right, and saw that Mike was driving his motorcycle to school, and the motor was making such a loud noise.

Mike was a mean-spirited guy who had no sense of humor. He dressed all in black and said offensive things to people. Such a lunatic, thought Kate.

"Hey you know, you should try to be more quiet, with your stupid motorcycle," Kate said getting up from the bench. "Fuck you," Mike sputtered out, and went into the building.

Angrily, I left Josh at the bench and went into school.

When they entered Art class, Mrs. MgGuirre announced the creators of this year's prom. "Kate Jefferson,  Jenna Speichinger, Julianna Mann, and Josh Henry, will create the decorations and organize the prom!"

Kate was super glad she was going to organize the prom, because first of all, she can have it her way. Without being judged. (Well, not always)

~Later..~

At the end of school, she waited outside the principal's office to describe the decoration materials she needs. Suddenly she saw Mike walking towards her. But he actually wasn't walking towards HER, he was walking towards the office. "Hey, I'm next you know," Kate stated. "Yeah I don't give a damn," Mike said. Mike went inside the office, and sat down on the seats. Kate peeked through the window to see what was going on.

"What do you want?" Mike asked the principle.

"Your punishment for burning down the prom site."

Outside the office, Kate gasped. "The prom site.." She mumbled. She dropped her bag and hurried out of the building and into the place where the prom was supposed to be. All there was, were ruins. Everything was wrecked. "How am I supposed to do this now?" She asked herself. She stepped into it, and looked around. The lamps Jenna had set up that day were exploded. Kate walked slowly to the office again and peeked through the window.

"Your punishment is... you have to help Kate redo all the things you ruined and help her make the prom," Principle Dickers said. "Now leave my office."

"Anything but that! I hate this whole fuckin' school!!!" Mike yelled. He kicked the door open, and hurried out. Kate took a deep breath and left school.

* I know it was suckish, but whatever! I'll post Chapter 1, probably tomorrow.
