Blanket's Mother (part two)
Enjoy! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Exactly at 8 o' clock pm, I saw a big, black stretch limo cruise up to my driveway as I looked out my window. I was sooo amazed and so in disbelief. I had never in my life seen anything as powerful as the vehicle. Pretty much weak from pure amazement and excitement, I slowly walked to the limousine. As I was about to open the door to go in, the driver ran up to my side and opened the door for me. Me: Thank you, sir. Driver: You're welcome young lady. (takes his hat off and greets me) I smiled as I climbed into the roomy car. While we were driving, I asked a question. Me: Um, sir...the man who called me earlier said that you're taking me to a ranch. What ranch was he talking about? Driver: I'm sorry, ma'am, but my boss told me not to tell you until we get there. Me: (groans with annoyance) Why is it so hard to let me know anything? Driver: (laughs) Don't worry. You'll be just fine. Althrough the ride, we were driving through dark roads and it was pretty much pitch dark, but the pitch darkness came away very quickly as soon as I came in contact with all of these colorful, vivid lights ever so blinding. These lights were the most beautiful lights my eyes ever laid on,and they came in a form of a gate. I had no idea where I was at all, but the gate said, "Neverland." Neverland? Was I in Peter Pan's home? I started to believe that I was going to see Peter Pan when the limo drove through all of these statues with Peter Pan and the Lost Boys on it. It was soooo gorgeous there! There were these huge fountains, and I could slightly view a Ferris Wheel and a carousel from afar. It was a magical paradise. Me: *thinking* Neverland...never heard of this place, but it's beautiful! When I thought this couldn't get any better, I saw these silohettes running into this gigantic house, which was just as lovely as the park! The figures were children! I felt way better than I did earlier, because children were the people I was most comfortable with. The thought of being surrounded with all of these judging adults, just steering their noses up at you just terrified and definitely intimidated me. The kids were yelling something. I think they were yelling someone's name...like "Michael" or something. Was "Michael" the guy who called me or was he one of those professionals that I would soon showcase my artwork to? I just had to find out. Then I saw these two small children running to the door as this figure of a man ran out to them and hugged them. They were yelling, "DADDY!" I guess one of the adult's children were present with him. I walked into the mansion and as soon as I walked in there, there were butlers, handing out apetizers and maids running around and cleaning things. When I walked in, those kids yelling "Michael" went home to their families. I was the only person there. I was confused, but tried not to keep my hopes up. I entered the dining room, and saw that there was a man with two young children... TBC...
