Don't Jump(Chapter One)
*Here is the first chapter to Don't Jump. I hope you all like it, cause I know I had fun making it :) So...here we go.* Chapter One: Ava Maire ---------------------------------------------------------------- â??Donâ??t let memories go of me and you The world is down there out of view Please, donâ??t jump, donâ??t jump I donâ??t know how long I can hold you so strong I donâ??t know how long Just take my hand Give it a chance Donâ??t jump I scream into the night for you Donâ??t make it true, donâ??t jump The lights will not guide you through Theyâ??re deceiving you, donâ??t jump Donâ??t let memories go of me and you The world is down there out of view Please, donâ??t jump, donâ??t jump And if all that canâ??t hold you back Then Iâ??ll jump for youâ? ---------------------------------------------------------------- -Michael- Have you ever had those days where you wish the world could just leave you alone? Allow you to have minutes by yourself? Well, for meâ?¦that has been what Iâ??ve wanted since my father started a group called the Jackson 5. I missed my old life as normal Michael Jackson; the youngest member of the Jackson familyâ?¦wellâ?¦till Randy and Janet were born that is. But back to what I was saying, I miss those days were I could walk down the street and not worry that I would be jumped by fans. Do not get me wrong, I love all my fansâ?¦â?¦itâ??s just I wish I could be normal again. Anyways, itâ??s just a normal day at my private school; being famous, my brothers and I had to leave public school because of all the girls jumping us each way we turned. The teacher was reading a bit from a story. I wasnâ??t really paying attention, just looking out the window as the others fallowed along with her in our books. I sighed as the door opened. The principal stepped in with a smile on his face. A young girl around my age, fifteen, stepped in behind him. She seemed different then from most of the girls around here. Her skin was milky white, her eyes were a crystal blue and her hair was down and parts of it hide her face. She wore a long sleeved shirt that was purple with black lines going across it, dark blue jeans and boots. Her book bag was yelled over her shoulder, never touching her back. The principal told us that her name as Ava Marie McKnight. I smiled when Mrs. Mayberry told her to sit in the empty sit beside me. She also gave her a copy of the book we were reading. Ava nodded her head and sat down beside me. Once she did, I turned to her and whispered, â??Hey. Iâ??m Michael Jackson, itâ??s really nice to meet you Ava.â? She didnâ??t say anything but looked forward into space. I saw that her sleeved was cuffed up a little bit I could see her arm. My eyes went wide as I saw the bruise on her arm. It was like a hand print was there. I assume she saw me staring at her arm, why? Because of fast she pulled her sleeve down and crossed her arms on the desk. I sat back and stared at her strangely through out the whole class. When the bell rung to change classes, I found myself fallowing her. I tried desperately to catch up with her, but nothing seemed to go right. I sighed and thought it was no use till I ran into an open door and dropped all my books. I started getting up, hearing all of my peers laughing at me because of it, when a hand went into front of me. I looked up to see it was Ava that was the welder of the hand. I smiled and took it. She helped me up and helped me get some of my books up as well. â??Thanks.â? I told her. She finally looked at me with her crystal blue eyes and said, â??Youâ??re welcomeâ?¦Michael, right?â? Her voice was music to my ears. Velvety smooth. I nodded my head. â??Yeah. Michael.â? â??I love you and your brothersâ?? band.â? My smile faded. Oh, show she knows about me and my brothers. â??Thanks. Itâ??s always nice to meet a fan.â? For once, could I find a girl that doesnâ??t just know me from mine and my brothers band? Now sheâ??s going to ask since she met me can she get backstage passes or anything. But what she said sort of made me feel bad. â??I know that look, Michael. Youâ??re thinking Iâ??m just talking to you because I know you from your singing group. I just want you to know Iâ??m not like most of the girls from your past Michael. Iâ??mâ?¦different. Let us just say that.â? Ava told me. I smiled and told her thanks. â??Your welcome.â? She said while grabbing my hand. â??Now, come one before weâ??re late for our next class.â? â??Okayâ?¦â? I said. For onceâ?¦I feel like Iâ??m back to my old self again. The normal Michael Joseph Jackson from Indiana. It feels great. But I notice when Ava smiles or laugh, her eyes donâ??t sparkle when your happy. You can just see hurt. ^*^ â??Man Mike,â? my brother Marlon said as we were walking home. â??What?â? I asked him, raising an eyebrow because that remark came from no where. â??Why is it that you get all the pretty young thangs?â? â??What in the world are you talking about Marlon?â? â??I mean that fly honey that just came to this school.â? â??Ava?â? â??Yeah, her. How do you do it?â? â??Marlon, I didnâ??t do anything.â? I told him. Which is true because technically she started talking to me first. â??I ran into a door and then we started talking.â? â??Right. Right,â? His remark to what I said sounded as if he didnâ??t believe it. But oh well, itâ??s the truth and itâ??s my story and I am sticking to it. We walked into the house as mother came over and hugged us both. â??Have fun?â? she asked us. â??Oh, yes mother.â? I told her. Marlon scoffed and I turned to looked at him while mother asked him what it was he scoffed about. â??I scoffed because, yeah, I know Michael had a good day today. Because he made a girlfriend.â? â??Marlon, for the last time,â? I told him sternly, â??she is NOT my girlfriend and I would appreciate it if you would shut up.â? â??Whatever you say,â? Marlon said laughing. â??But remember, when you all get married, I am the best man. Donâ??t even think about letting Tito or Jackie be it.â? â??Marlon, leave Michael alone.â? Jermaine said walking into the kitchen. â??Youâ??ve been talking about this since we left school. Itâ??s getting really annoying, and if itâ??s annoying me, I am pretty sure itâ??s annoying Michael.â? â??Excuse me,â? Marlon said going out of the kitchen to the stairs. â??Iâ??ll just go tell this to Janet or Randy. At least theyâ??ll understand.â? Mother shook her head with a laugh as she started to make supper. Rebbie came and helped her with it. Jermaine and I went into the living room with the others and watched TV till Joseph came home and mother finally had supper done. We all went to the kitchen, not knowing what was going on across town. -Ava- I laid down on my bed on my side as the stinging pain on my back started to pass away. My face was stained with tears that fell as my normal beating from my father took place. He would either abuse me or my mother over something so stupid, he wasnâ??t even my father. He was my step father. He would tell me time and time again I was not good enough, I was ugly and that I should be lucky that God hasnâ??t had anything to happen to me. But mother tells me right behind him I am good enough, I am beautiful and that God blessed me to be her miracle. But she tries to mend my wounds the best she can, and I try to hide them as much as I can. I clutched the sheets of my bed as I tried to stand up, but that only caused more pain on me. â??I hate him,â?? I thought to myself. â??I wish he would die in a car accident and maybe mother and I could finally live a peaceful life and not worry about if we will get abuse by a idiot such as him.â?? I finally forced myself up and went into the bathroom. I looked into my reflection. I hated what I saw in it, because of what my stepfather has said to me over the years and because the girl I see in the mirror is not me. Itâ??s a girl I have never seen in my life. A weak, pathetic girl. I balled my fist up and with no warning, I smashed it into my bathroom mirror and I quickly brought it back as I sat on the toilet and wrapped the rag on the vanity and placed it on my bleeding fist. I bite my bottom lip till the point I literally thought it was going to break the skin I was biting so hard. After awhile, the bleeding stopped and I went to by bed and laid down again, I tried to make something of the rest of the night as I tried to sleep. The only thing that put me to sleep was the thought I had finally met a new friend, someone I could go to trust and if you are wondering who that person maybe, itâ??s Michael. The thought of that, it put a smile on my face and eased me from the nightmare that had just happened to the peaceful dreams I was having now. I just hope Michael and I can stay friends forever. One can only hope. *To tell me, how was that? Iâ??ll have the next part up soon. Iâ??m sorry if this was suckishâ?¦but Iâ??ll try to make this more interesting as it goes on. But till then, Iâ??m going to work on Time Box now. So till then, BYE (:*
