Hey MJSite, itâ??s been a while. Iâ??ve had terrible writers block my cousin Kim, who loves Michael like crazy too, not as crazy as me...LOL...but she loves him. She actually is Kim in the story and has been helping me with her part, she and I have been so busy with school. We're both 19 and in college so our heads have been in the books but weâ??re back now. Me: Hey Frank, itâ??s Michael. Frank: Oh hey, whatâ??s up? Me: Nothinâ?? much, I need you to do somethin for me. Frank: Sure thing, what is it? Me: Iâ??m thinkin about goinâ?? to that game tomorrow night andâ?¦ Frank: Ah, you wanna surprise your girl eh? Me: Yeah, somethin like that. Frank: Okay, so what do you need me to do? Me: Get in touch with the manager of the arena and let him know that Iâ??ll be there tomorrow night, he and his staff need to be prepared just in caseâ?¦you know. Frank: Yeah, they really need to be prepared, people go nuts when they see you. Me (laughs) I know itâ??s all love but there still needs to be extra security in place so there wonâ??t be so much chaos, even though Iâ??m sure there still will be. Frank: If they do their job right everything should be fine. Me: Yeah but I just donâ??t want anyone to get hurt. Frank: Right. Me: Let him know that I really donâ??t want anyone to know about it...let it be a surprise. Frank (laughs) Itâ??ll definitely be one. Me: Thatâ??s my planâ?¦and if he can, ask him to get me two courtside seats. Frank: Why do you need two? Me: Oneâ??s for you. Frank: Me? Me: Yeah, youâ??re not just my manager, youâ??re my friend, youâ??re doin this for me so why not? Frank: Michael, you never cease to amaze me with your kindness...Iâ??m on the job. Me: Thanks Frank. Frank: No problem Mikeâ?¦ aye you get some rest man, you need it. Me: Iâ??ll try. Frank: Alright, Iâ??ll call you back as soon everythingâ??s squared away. Me: Alright...bye. Frank: Later. I lay in my bed, on my back with my hands behind my head, staring at the ceiling. Twenty minutes pass then Frank calls back. He tells me that everything is in place for tomorrow night. Now I just need to get some rest like he said but it seems impossible for me to do even though Iâ??m burnt out. Over the past sixteen months Iâ??ve performed over 100 shows in just about every part of the world. Iâ??ve been working hard, putting my all into the tour, trying to make sure that I could give my fans the most amazing show that theyâ??ve ever seen, an experience theyâ??ll never forget.At the same time trying to keep up a long distance relationship, which wasnâ??t hard but it wasnâ??t easy either. Iâ??m home now and should be kickinâ?? back relaxing but this girl still has me running a marathon. I donâ??t think thereâ??s another man in this world that is being driven anywhere near as crazy by any woman as Tyesha is driving me. What is it about me that women, mainly my girlfriends, have the tendency to drive me crazy? I just donâ??t understand it. Speaking of women drivinâ?? me crazy, my last girlfriend gave me so much grief. Lookinâ?? back on that relationship, I canâ??t believe I even tolerated all of the stuff she put me through. I loved her but I never fell in love with her, itâ??s a good thing Iâ??m a forgiving person because much of what she put me through, a lot of guys would not have forgiven her so easily or been so tolerant. We never had much in common, all that was there was physical attraction but when a person starts acting ugly that fades awayâ?¦fast. Thatâ??s exactly what happened, that woman made me sick to my stomach. On the night I ended it with her I met a little girl named Machala, who happened to be the little sister of the woman Iâ??d fall in love with. Sheâ??s never given me any grief, pretty much everything is great in our relationshipâ?¦well, except for one thingâ?¦she wonâ??t sleep with me and I honestly donâ??t know why. Iâ??m startinâ?? to think somethinâ?? might be wrong with me. Weâ??ve known each other for a while, she knows all my secrets and embarrassing moments, sheâ??s my girl and my best friend. Weâ??ve been through a lot together, I feel like I can trust her and that she understands me. Luckily, we didnâ??t rush into a relationship without knowing each other and what one another was about. Iâ??ve done that in my past and it didnâ??t turn out too good. Besides I couldnâ??t do that anyway because she was with someone at the time and Iâ??m not the type to steal another manâ??s girl even though I couldâ??ve easily taken Tyesha away from that jerk of a boyfriend she was dating. Reminiscing on the past: She had me at first glance. I was having dinner with my then girlfriend, Lori, who was goinâ?? though the I hate you one minute, love you the next spell and I was really getting tired of it and my feelings for her were just not there anymore. I found out that she was a manipulative, lying, cheater plus I already knew she was foolinâ?? around on me but I just didnâ??t wanna see it but that night the truth came out and by that time I had my eyes on another girl. A couple nights before I met Tyesha, Lori showed up to my familyâ??s home looking for me but I wasnâ??t there, thank God. I was in the studio with Quincy recording tracks for my album, â??BAD.â? She attempted to make it seem as though I was the one doinâ?? wrong when in fact it was her. She tried to change me and make into the man that she wanted me to be, she never accepted me for who I am and never understood why I am the way I am. She always told me that I was too childish. I told her that if she wanted to be with me sheâ??d have to deal with it because Iâ??m me and thatâ??s the only person I can be. Out of anger she made up some bullshit lies and since I wasnâ??t home she took it upon herself to tell my motherâ?¦.my mother, thatâ??s when she went too farâ?¦so told my mother that that I hit her, I would never do such a thing. She told her that I was cheating on her, Iâ??m a liar, and I donâ??t deserve a honest, faithful girl like her. Of course my mother didnâ??t believe a word she said, I would never do that to any woman. My sisters Latoya and Janet were there and witnessed the whole thing. They said that she had to get thrown off our property. When they explained to me what happened I was mad as hell. â??Michael, I told you that girl was no good,â? my mother said to me. â??You need to leave her alone,â? Latoya said. â??She donâ??t love you, if she did she wouldnâ??t be puttinâ?? you through this crap,â? Janet said. They all had been telling me for a long time to let her go, even Joseph warned me about her but I kept givinâ?? her chance after chance. She kept apologizing, promising to straighten up and try harder to accept me and love me the way I am and stop trying to change me. It was goinâ?? good for a minute until she did that. The next day she calls me and apologizes, then has the nerve to ask me if she could take me out to dinner, like that would make up for what she did. At first I said no but she begged me and even started crying so even though I didnâ??t want to, I said yes. I really didnâ??t want to be bothered with her anymore, I just wanted to be done with her right then and there. â?¦Thursday, January 15th,1987:the night me and Tyesha metâ?¦. AT DINNER: She told me to meet her at an upscale restaurant in L.A. we were seated in a corner at the back, it was kind of dark and quiet but far from romanticâ?¦at least for me it was. â??Michael, Iâ??m really happy that you changed your mind and decided to have dinner with me tonight,â? she says smiling at me from across the table. I didnâ??t say anything I just grabbed the menu from the table, start to look through it to see what I want to order. That smile came off her face real quick. â??Silent treatment Michael, oh yeah, thatâ??s real mature,â? she says getting an attitude. Again I donâ??t say anything I just pull down the menu from my face and give her one of those you make me sick looks. â??I guess I deserve this.â? I pull the menu down from my face again shacking my head in disgust, she guesses she deserves this? I pull the menu back up. â??Okay, okay, I deserve it.â? The waitress walks up to us and asks if weâ??re ready to order. â??Ladies first,â? I say from behind the menu. Lori orders her food then I order mine. After I ordered my meal, I gave the waitress a smile just to be polite and Lori starts trippinâ?? over that. The waitress walks away. â??What the hell was that?â? â??Lori, donâ??t start, weâ??re already not on good terms.â? â??Oh, Iâ??m gonna be starting something alright, how could you just disrespect me like that?â? Sheâ??s lost her mind, how is smiling at someone disrespect, Iâ??m about to give her a good piece of my mind. â??Look girl, you asked me to come to dinner withâ?¦no you begged to come to dinner with you and after what you did youâ??re lucky Iâ??m here so you better stop trippinâ?? and act like you got some sense.â? She just looked at me shocked, â??Iâ??m sorry Michael.â? â??You know what, stop apologizing to me, youâ??re always sorryâ?¦letâ??s just make the best out of this night alright.â? Iâ??m just about fed up with this girl. I donâ??t get mad easily or that often but I hate it when I do. There was complete silence between the two of us until the waitress came back with our food. â??Enjoy your food,â? she says. â??Thank you,â? I reply. She was about to turn and walk away but she hesitated. â??Um, Mr. Jackson I know youâ??re on a date but could you please sign this for me?â? â??Sign what?â? She reaches in her apron and pulls out a copy of my â??Thrillerâ? album. â??Sure,â? I reply with a smile, taking the CD. â??Lori, do you have a pen?â? â??Pssh, no.â? â??Donâ??t worry, use mine,â? the waitress says. She gives me her sharpie, I sign the album and I give it back to her. â??Thanks and um, if itâ??s not too much could I have a hug?â? she asks sweetly. â??Of course,â? I get up and give her a nice warm hug. â??Thank you Mr. Jacksonâ? â??Just call me Michael.â? â??Okayâ?¦thank you Michael.â? â??No problemâ?¦(looks at her name tag)â?¦Stacey.â? â??If you need anything else just call my name.â? â??Sure thing.â? She walks away trying to stay calm, when I turn to look at Lori I could see the jealousy all over her face. I sit back down and start to eat my food. There was still a cold silence between usâ?¦then some guy walks over to our table and he seems to know Lori. â??Lori, is that you?â? â??Jason, how are you?â? They hug each other. â??Iâ??m doing great, you?â? They were just carrying on a conversation like I wasnâ??t even thereâ?¦then again I really donâ??t give a damn she can leave with him for all I care. He whispered something in her ear and left, then she told me that she had to use the restroom, she mustâ??ve thought that I was real stupid. After she left the table I just sat there observing the other people in the restaurant tryinâ?? to keep my cool. By then I had lost the little appetite I did have. As Iâ??m looking around this cute little girl about seven years old walks up to me and saysâ?¦ â??Excuse me Mr. Jacksonâ?¦Iâ??m here with my sister, she told not to bother you and sheâ??s probably looking for me right now but I just couldnâ??t help myself, I had to come over and ask for your autograph because...MJ youâ??re my hero.â? Her words really cheered me up. â??Aw, thatâ??s nice of you to say...whatâ??s your name sweetie?â? â??Machala Jinee Jacobs.â? â??Wow Machala we have the exact same initialsâ?¦MJJ.â? â??I know, thatâ??s so cool.â? â??Yeah, it is, what did you bring for me to sign?â? â??Well, I donâ??t have anything with me but could you sign this napkin?â? â??How about I sign my hat and give it to you, itâ??ll last longer?â? â??Youâ??re really gonna give your fedora?â? she asks getting excited. â??Yeah, itâ??s all yours.â? â??Thanksâ?¦umâ?¦can I call you Michael?â? â??Of course.â? The waitress was walking past my tableâ?¦ â??Excuse me, Stacey.â? She turns around and walks toward meâ?¦ â??Yes Michael.â? â??Is it okay if I use your sharpie again?â? â??Sure you can use it again.â? She gets the marker out of her shirt pocket and hands it to me. I took off my hat and signed the inside of it where it would be visible to see. When Iâ??m done I give Stacey back her marker. â??Thank you,â? I say to her. â??Youâ??re very welcome.â? She winks at me and walks away. â??Here you go little MJ,â? I say putting the hat on her head. â??Thanks, Big MJ,â? we both start to laugh. â??I think that waitress likes you.â? â??Why do you say that?â? â??Because she winked at you, do you like her?â? â??Sheâ??s pretty but I would have to get to know her first, sometimes the pretty ones are the mean ones.â? I probably shouldnâ??t have said that but I was so angry with Lori. â??Why would anyone want to be mean to you, youâ??re so nice?â? she asks. â??Thank you...I donâ??t know, thatâ??s a question I canâ??t answer.â? â??Iâ??ll always be nice to you MJ.â? â??I know you will.â? â??I wish I could stay with you longer but I should be going, my sisterâ??s probably worried.â? Just then we hear a young womanâ??s voice say, â??Machala Jinee Jacobs.â? â??Uh...oh,â? Machala says with a worried look on her face as she slowly turns around to see her sister behind her. She walks around the table and stands in front of us crossing her arms. I had to do a double take because this woman was absolutely beautiful. â??Little girl, didnâ??t I tell you not to come over here and bother Mr. Jackson.â? â??Iâ??m sorry Ty, I couldnâ??t help myself, Iâ??m not in trouble am I?â? â??No, youâ??re not, next time just donâ??t sneak off like that okay, you had me worried.â? â??Okay, Iâ??m sorry.â? The give each other a hug. â??Michael, this is my big sister, Tyesha.â? â??Hi,â? is all I could say. â??Hi, itâ??s an honor to meet you and Iâ??m so sorry about this, I had no idea she snuck off.â? â??No, itâ??s okayâ?¦she didnâ??t bother me in any way.â? â??Look, he gave me his hat and he signed it.â? â??Aw, thatâ??s nice...(looks at me)...this means so much to her, it was very sweet of you to do this.â? She smiled at me and oh my God it was such a beautiful smile. â??Hey, Ty did you know we have the same initials...MJJ?â? â??I know, thatâ??s pretty cool.â? Then a tall, light skinned guy walks up to us, â??There you are.â? â??Darell, lookâ?¦(shows him the hat)...MJ gave me his hat and he autographed it.â? â??Wow Machala, thatâ??s fresh right there.â? â??This is my boyfriend, Darell,â? Tyesha introduced me, when she said boyfriend I just was like damn, I thought I mightâ??ve had a chance but I kept it cool. â??How you doinâ???â? I ask. â??Iâ??m good, you?â? he says. â??Same.â? â??Cool...(looks at her)...Ty, look Iâ??m about to tell you something that might get you upset but itâ??s not my fault.â? â??What is it now Darell?â? â??Itâ??s about dinner, Iâ??m not gonâ?? be able to pay for it.â? â??Really Darell, again?â? â??My card declined again but baby, I swear this is the last time.â? â??It better be.â? She reaches for her walletâ?¦ â??Hey.â? She looks at me. â??Donâ??t worry about it, I got it.â? â??No itâ??s okay Iâ??ll pay for it, weâ??re the ones that ate the food.â? I get up out of my chair and stand in front of her, â??I insist.â? â??Let the man pay, heâ??s got money to blow,â? Darell says. â??Are you sure?â? she asks me. â??Positive.â? â??Thank you Michael...if itâ??s okay for me to call you that.â? â??Thatâ??s my name isnâ??t it?â? I jokingly reply with a smile. â??Wow Michael, you have a nice smile.â? â??Thank you, so do you.â? â??Ooohhh,â? Machala says giggling. Darell clears his throat, â??Thanks bruhâ?¦for taking care of dinner.â? â??Yeah, your welcome.â? The waiter comes over I give him my credit card, explains the situation to him, then he goes to the register. â??Michael, whereâ??s your date?â? Machala asks. â??Iâ??m not sure.â? I knew where she was but I couldnâ??t tell a child that my girlfriend was havinâ?? sex in the restroom with another man. Five minutes later the waiter walks over and gives me my credit card back, then the manager of the restaurant comes and asks me to go with him. â??Mr. Jackson.â? â??Yes.â? â??Iâ??m Richard Perry, the manager of this restaurant, may I have a word with you?â? â??Um, okay...is there a problem?â? â??Could you follow me?â? â??Michaelâ??s not in trouble is he?â? Machala asks the manager sounding worried. â??No, heâ??s not in trouble.â? I follow Mr. Perry as he leads me to where the restrooms were. â??This woman claims to be a friend of yours, do you know her?â? he asks me. I really wanted to say no but I told the truth. â??Yes.â? â??Well, Iâ??m sorry to tell you that she and this gentleman here where caught having sex in our restroom, in the act they broke a very expensive marbled sink.â? â??What does this have to do with me, Iâ??m not the one she was havinâ?? sex with.â? â??They donâ??t have the money to replace the sink,â? he tells me. â??Sir, this is not my problemâ?¦Lori and her new boyfriend are gonna have to take up for their actions.â? I look at Lori disgusted, â??I know you donâ??t expect me to pay for this?â? She starts crying, she knows that when she cries I start feeling sorry for her but not this time. She crossed the line and Iâ??m done with her for good. â??Donâ??t start crying, itâ??s not workinâ?? this time. I donâ??t know how youâ??re paying for the damage that youâ??ve caused but I donâ??t have nothin to do with it and donâ??t want nothin to do with it. You and Jason better figure somethin out, oh and just so you know, me and you are done, donâ??t call me, donâ??t ever show up and my familyâ??s house again, itâ??s over.â? I look at Jason, heâ??s lookin scared, â??If I cared about all this I wouldâ??ve beat your ass. â??Can I go now?â? I ask the manager. â??Yes, youâ??re free to go.â? â??Thank you.â? I walked back over to my table and Tyesha and Machala were still there. â??Michael!â? Machala runs over to me and hugs my legs. â??Are you okay?â? â??Yes, I will be the sooner I can get out of this place,â? I say hugging her back. â??Thanks for caring about me so much Machala.â?? â??Weâ??ll always care about you Michael.â? â??We?â? â??Yeah, me and Tyesha.â? I look at her kind of surprised. â??Why so surprised, Iâ??m not a cold hearted person, I care about you too, one the waiters told me about what happened and I just wanted to make sure you were cool. Iâ??m so sorry, I wish there was somethin that we could do.â? â??No need to apologize, itâ??s not your fault and thank you for staying around to check on meâ?¦(looks around)â?¦whereâ??s uhâ?¦your boyfriend?â? â??Darell left, he didnâ??t wanna stick around.â? â??He doesnâ??t like me does he?â? â??No, he canâ??t stand youâ?¦thatâ??s only because he knows that I like you.â? I was speechless. â??I donâ??t know much about you accept that youâ??re an entertainer, I grew up listening to you and your brothers but thereâ??s something about you, I donâ??t know what it isâ?¦all I know is that I wanna find out.â?? Man, this girl was so smooth, she made me forget about everything that just happened and I was literally lost for words. Machala was just standing in the middle of us watching like it was her favorite T.V. show or somethin. â??Well, me and Machala should really be getting home, my parents will kill me if I donâ??t have her home by nine, sheâ??s got school tomorrow.â? â??School is important,â? I blurt out, not knowing what else to say. â??Yeah, it isâ?¦so are friends, hereâ??s my number if you ever wanna talk, donâ??t hesitate to call me.â? She gives a piece of paper with her number on it. â??I will definitely call you.â? â??Lookinâ?? forward to it...alright Machala, letâ??s go babe.â? Machala gives me another hug, â??Bye Michael, looks like weâ??ll be seeing more of each other..â? I pick up her up in my arms, hugging her back, â??I hope so, thank you for being so sweet.â? I absolutely adore children and she made me feel so much better when she came up to me and said those nice things. I was in a pretty sour mood before and she came to my rescue, the fact that she happened to be there with here fine older sister was just icing on the cake. I put her down, she looks at her sister and says, â??Arenâ??t you gonna give Michael a hug too?â? She paused for a second, then she started to walk closer to me and with every step she took my heart began beating faster and faster. Then she put her arms around me and we embraced like weâ??ve known each other forever. â??If I wasnâ??t with Darell, I would definitely want to take your exâ??s place, she was lucky and didnâ??t even know it,â? she whispers softly into my ear. When she pulled away she looked me deep in the eyes, I wanted to kiss her so bad but at least I got a kiss on the cheek. Machalaâ??s mouth dropped open. â??You ready to go lilâ?? sis?â? â??Did you just...?â?? â??Yes, just donâ??t tell Darell.â?? â??Your secretâ??s safe with me.â? They wave goodbye, I watched them until they walked out of the door. I was happy, I just made two new friends and in the end a terrible night turned out great. After they left I asked the manager if I had to pay for the food I ordered and he said that heâ??d add the cost of the sink that Lori and Jason broke and he apologized for dragging me into something that I had nothing to do with. That night when I got home all I could think about was Tyesha. The next day I was eager to call, so I did. I talked to Machala for a while, she answered the phone. After that Tyesha I talked, we were on the phone for hours and I was amazed at how much we had in common. I wanted her to be my girl so bad but when she told me that she and Darell were engaged, I lost all hope and at one point I felt that it was impossible for me to just be her friend because I was falling in love with her. A few months later she told me that the engagement was called off and Darell moved to Atlanta. That September I started touring in Japan. I was touring without my brothers for the first time and at night itâ??d get very lonesome though I had Bubbles with me I still wanted someone to talk to that would respond back to me. Bubbles is a great listener but he canâ??t talk back to me like a human can. So I decided to send Tyesha a plane ticket to come be with me until basketball season started, thatâ??s when she had to be at work. We had so much fun together. We pulled a so many pranks on the dancers, band members and crew, we had water balloon fights, pie fights, super soaker fights, watched movies, cracked joked, being silly, just having a good time. I like that fact that sheâ??s a big kid at heart just like me. When she left to start her job I thought about her non stop. She was in my dreams, my day dreams, fantasies, everything. Now that I knew she wasnâ??t with anyone, this was my chance. Iâ??m sure that she knew I was in to her because I would flirt with her all the time. One night...well, it was morning where I was and night where she wasâ?¦I called her, wasted no time in asking her out. I was scared out of my mind that she wouldâ??ve said no but she didnâ??t. When I got a break from touring we had our first date and I asked her to officially be my girl, we sealed it with our first kiss and sheâ??s been mine ever since. Weâ??ve been together for about a year, itâ??s been a great year. Iâ??m really in love with her and I wanna show how much I love her but she wonâ??t let me. Thatâ??s alright because Iâ??m a determined person and I donâ??t give up that easily. Oh, and if youâ??re wondering what happened to Lori and that Jason guy, their public restroom sexcapade made the national news and they were sued by the restaurant. I havenâ??t heard anything else about them since that happened. TBC...
