Ty & Michael's phone convo: (from Pt.1) After a long, tiring day, the world finding out about my relationship, and my friends and co-workers gettin' on me for not tellin' them about it, I just wanted to get home and rest. I watched a little T.V. then I decided to call my baby. Right when I was about to pick up the phone and call him, the phone rang, looks like he had the same idea. Me: Hello? Mike: Hey baby girl what you doin'? Me: Nothin' just watchin' Sports Center, they're talkin' about us. Mike: Oh yeah, I read the newspaper...you're not mad are you? Me: About what? Mike: Our relationship getting out? Me: Of course not baby, it was gonna happen sooner or later. Mike: Yeah, but you know how mean they can be...the tabloids and stuff. Me: The tabloids can go fuck off, I don't give damn about shit they say. Mike: Damn girl, you're words are so aggressive, if you can talk like that why can't you act like that? Me: What you tryna' say? Mike: Come on Ty, I've been throwin' hints at you for months and you've just been brushin' me off I mean let a brotha know what's up. Me: Nothin's up. Mike: So why every time I wanna make love to you, you ignore me? Me:... Mike: Ty...Tyesha...are you still there? Me: Huh, oh yeah...dang baby would you look at the time, you know I gotta get some sleep so we'll talk later okay? Mike: See you're doing it again. Me: I love you too, bye...(hangs up the phone) "Shit that was too close." I really didn't wanna hang up on him but what was I supposed to say?... "See baby, the reason why I always brush you off or ignore you is because your dick is too big and I'm scared that you might hurt me." Like what the hell, who would actually say something like that? 2 minutes later: Michael calls back, I just let it go to voicemail. VOICEMAIL: Hey what up, it's Ty, I'm not available right now so if it's that important leave me a message and I'll do my best to get back to you as soon as I can, iight! PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE AFTER THE BEEP....(BEEEPPP!) "It's like that Tyesha, I can't believe you just hung up in my face like that, you can't avoid the subject forever but imma let this slide just like I've been doing all this time but trust, this ain't over girl, we gone talk one way or another. If you gone make me chase you, I will, imma hunt you down girl, this ain't the end baby. You be killin' me with this but I still love you, sweet dreams baby girl." *sighs* "Man, he's right, we're gonna have to talk about it before it starts causing serious problems in our relationship. I'm really suprised that Michael has put up with me for this long and stays faithful. He's always got girls throwin' themselves at him but he never gives in. A couple times he's brought that up. Like last year when he was in New York. We had only been dating for about two months and he told me that he almost slept with another girl but it was his feelings for me that stopped him." FLASHBACK: 1988 ...(phone rings)... Me: Yo what up? ...(laugh) I know your mother taught you better that to answer the phone like that. Me: Shut up, who is this Michael? ...Oh, so you don't know my voice by now? Me: I knew it was you Bighead? Mike (laughs) But you love my bighead though. Me (laughs) Cute comeback...what part of the world are ya'll in now? Mike: New York, we'll be on our way to St.Louis in two days, we performed at MSG and have two more nights there. Me: Wow, that's huge, first night at Madison Square Garden, how did it go? Mike: It was okay. Me: Okay? Michael, it's Madison Square Garden, I mean I know it was better that okay...right? Mike: Um, I don't know we're raising money for the United Negro College Fund so I'm happy about that but the show...it was, it was cool I guess. Me: Michael, is there something wrong? Mike:... Me: Mike? Mike: *takes a deep breath* My feelings are too strong to keep this from you. Me: What...what are you talking about? Mike:... Me: Michael?...you're scaring me...what is it? Mike: Please don't be mad. Me: I won't get mad...promise. Mike: Yeah, you say that now but when I tell you what I have to say you'll forget all about that promise. Me: No...I won't...just trust me. Mike: Okay...*pauses*...do you remember Tatiana Thumbtzen? Me: You mean the girl from your video? Mike: Yes. Me: Yeah, I remember her...why? Mike: We invited her back to be on the show for the MSG concerts. Me: Okay. Mike: *sounding nervous* well...uh, um...while we where per...per...forming "The Way You Make Me Feel" we uh... Me: You what? Mike: We...uh...*clears throat*...ki-kissed. Me:... Mike: I just wanted to be the first to tell you, I didn't want you to hear about it from the media because they'll make somethin' out of nothin' and it was nothin'. I admit I kissed her back, I got caught up in the moment and I couldn't reject her in front of all of those people. Me: Okay. Mike: That's all you're gonna say? Me: That's all I can say. Mike: Well, there's more. Me: *getting scared* What? Mike: After the show she wanted to talk to me so we went back to my hotel room and we started talkin' then she kissed me again and I kissed her back...she...um...st-started to unbotton her shirt and that's when I told her she had to leave, it had already gone too far. Believe me baby, I just kissed her and that's it, I don't want that from any other girl but you. Girls follow me around everywhere and tell me what they wanna to do to me and stuff like that, I always try to keep my mind and heart set on the right things but it's not easy for a man to stay faithful with all of this temptation around me. You know I'm not a bad person and I would never intentionally do anything to hurt those that I love. I'm only human and we make mistakes. I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me. Me: You know Michael, there's not many guys who'll own up to their mistakes and apologize for them, so I have a lot of respect for you and I do forgive you, I understand what you're saying, I know about the girls and the temptation, but I trust in you. I trust in you to be faithful to me even though it's harder on you than it is on me. I believe you can do it and I love you. Mike: I love you more. Me: Well, I think you've said a mouthful and I've had an earful and I really donâ??t have anything more to day...do you? Mike: No. Me: Are you sure? Mike: Yes Tyesha, Iâ??m sure. Me: Okay well let's just call it a night, call me again whenever you get the time. Mike: Okay. Me: Bye. Mike: Bye. "I'm afraid that he's gonna get tired of this. If I don't take care of my man's needs then some other woman will." MICHAEL'S P.O.V. After sittin' in my room thinkin' of my next move my boy Eddie (Murphy)called. Me: Hello? Eddie: Sup Mike, it's Eddie? Me: Hey, what's goin' on? Eddie: Nothin' much, just checkin' in to see if you and your girl are alright, the news about your relationship is spreading all across the world. Me: Well, I'm good, I called her and she says she's alright with it, it's was gonna happen anyway, we both knew that. Eddie: Well, I'm glad everything's cool...and I'm glad you're back home, we gotta get together sometime soon for a boys night out. Me: Yeah, we should do that. Eddie: So uh,...did you get some last night? Me: Get some of what? Eddie: Did your girl give you some welcome home pussy last night? Me (laughs)Oh! Pshhh, Yea right...I'm not that lucky. Eddie: That girl is still trippin'? Me: Yes, she is and I don't know what to do. I mean there have been times when weâ??ve come so close but she always chickens out. Eddie *starts laughin'* How many boners has she left you hangin' with Mike? Me *gettin' mad* It ain't that damn funny. Eddie: Alright, alright, alright, I'm sorry. Look, I'll tell you what you need to do...you need to show up to that game tomorrow night...that'll shock the hell out of her ass. Me: But everybody's expecting me to show up. Eddie: Everybody except her. Me *thinks* You might be on to somethin'...I think I might just do that. Eddie: Us men, we gotta chase these woman Mike, we gotta show em' that we ain't playin' games. Me: You're right and I told her I was gone chase her down. Eddie: Alright then, don't go back on your word. Me: I'm gonna call my manager so he can set it up and have the securtiy on alert. Eddie: Now you talkin' and you gotta tell me how it goes. Me: For sure. Eddie: Cool...alright Mike, show her who's BAD man. Me (laughs) Alright...we'll talk later. Eddie: Alright Dueces. tbc...
