Decisions Can Change a Life Chpt. 18
Well, there isn't really nothing to say. But I'm mad that the news Is saying Mike killed himself by injecting more after Dr.Murray left the room. That is a bunch of garbage. People need to find someone else to make things up about. Anyways, this is dedicated to my Twin/Tiara for encouraging me to write. And to Michael, who I share so much in common with. Lovee to the two of them. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* Me:**Opens eyes** What? Nurse Lulli:Dr.Leon will like to speak with you now. Me:Okay. I got up and followed the nurse to the front desk. Dr.Leon:Mr.Jackson can I just speak with you for a moment. **Pulls me to the side** Okay, the surgery went better than I thought it would. Since she's only 7 months the baby is pre-mature, meaning she can't breath on her own so we're help her to. Now, there is no certanty that she will make it. **Pauses** As for Jennell, she's in ICU. She's on some pretty heavy pain killers so she will be out for awhile. Me:Can I see her? Dr.Leon:Yeah, follow me. When I had gotten to the room I saw that she was hooked up to multiple machines. Tears filled my eyes. I looked towards the doctor just as the tear was running down my face. Me:Can you give me just a mintue? Dr.Leon:Sure. As he closed the door I walked to the side of her bed. I grabbed her hand and leaned in a kissed her forehead. Me:I'm sorry for putting you through all this pain, I'm sorry I wasn't there when I was supposed to be. I'm sorry. By that time the tears were already streaming down my face. I kissed her one more time then stepped out the room. Dr.Leon said that they would just give her one more shot then family members were aloud in the room to see her. When her parents showed up they had thanked me for being here, but I refused to take credit. I was supposed to be here before this even happened. I don't get it. **4 Hours later** My mother brought me a little blanket and I rested on the little couch in Jennell's hospital room. I was just waiting for the moment were I would hear her sweet voice. I was tapped on the shoulder and I knew it wasn't Jennell. Me:**Sitting up** Huh? Dr.Leon: Michael, we need to talk. Me: Okay. Dr.Leon walked me out into the hallway then stopped me outside the door. Dr.Leon: We've had some complications. Me: What!? Dr.Leon: With the baby. She stopped breathing. We tryed to bring her back but there was no way. Tears welded up in my eyes, my body stiffened. I didn't know how to take such information. With out thinking I clenched my hands and turned around and punched the wall. My mother came and wrapped me in her arms, and I cryed into her shoulder. Why me, why Jennell. We didn't do anything to deserve this. **2 days later** The past couple of days I've been trying to think of how to tell Jennell what happened. She is still out from the medicine but the Doctors said it will be any mintue now that she will wake up. I'm sitting on the side of her bed holding and caressing her hand. Wishing that moment will come soon. Nurse Lulli:**Open door** Hello, we're going to try to wake her up now. It's been 5 hours without the pain medicine. **Takes Jennell's pulse** Me:**Stands up** Nurse Lulli: Jennell, hun, do you hear me? If you do squeeze my hand. I looked at her hand hopeing she will do as she was told. Nurse Lulli: Jennell sweety. Come on it's time to wake up. My heart was racing a mile a mintue. I didn't know what to do. Then all of a sudden I said... Me:Let me try. Nurse Lulli: Go right on ahead. Me:**Holds Jennell's other hand** Baby, it's me Michael. Please open your eyes... I love you. **Kisses her hand** Just as I kissed her hand her eyes beggan to open. When she opened her eyes she smiled at me. **My P.O.V** I opened my eyes as what felt like 2 mintues. I saw Michael by my bedside with tears in his eyes. I was so happy to see him after so long. I looked to my other side and saw a nurse smiling at us both. Nurse: Well, I'll leave you too alone. **Walks out** Me:**Voice alittle dry** Michael, I'm glad to see you. Michael:**Tears runs down his face** Me too. Me:Aww, Mike. **Whipes his tears away** Don't be sad. I'm fine. Michael: It's not you... It's... ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* Duces!
