I hunged up the phone without saying goodbye to Michael. I held my breath and started to pace the floor gently, my mind was roaming around with questions. I heard a knock on my bedroom door and opened it without hesitation.

Dimplez:Hey girl!
Me:Hey *looking upset*
Dimplez:What's wrong?
Me:My parents, my life, and Michael
Dimplez:*shaking her head*
Me:How come i'm not the popular type anymore?
Dimplez:Maybe because of your parents.
Me:How can I get back popular again?
Dimplez:By dating Michael *popping her gum*

I thought for a second, I can get back to being popular, but how, Oh, he's captain of the Varsity football team, I can make my way up to the standard that will give my life back once more.

---Monday---

I was at school, getting my things for my next period, I seen Michael coming up to me with a smile on his face.

Michael:Hey Bethany *leaning against a locker*
Me:Hey Mike
Michael:Why did you hang up on me yesterday?

I had to think of a lie, but really, this was starting to hurt my life already.

Me:Uh, I had to do something for my mom.
Michael:...Oh okay
Me:Mhm
Michael:Do you want me to walk you to class

I had a smile on my face, I began shutting my locker, while Michael held my books and walked me to my class, Stormi seen Michael and I locked in arms. She gave me a sly look, while Michael kissed me on the cheek I walked up to Stormi while she patted me on my shoulder.

Stormi:Well, two love birds?
Me:*nodding my head*
Stormi:Oh, I thought you didn't like him
Me:Shhh! *pulling her aside* I'm just trying to get my popularity back in place.
Stormi:*gasp* What if your mom finds out

I thought about the question over and over again, my mind was starting to hurt from this question going thru my mind. I rolled my eyes and went to my seat as the bell began to ring.
