Before I Came, You Were There *Part 1
Hey guys! I hope some of you remember me but i'm Sarah B! I am writing Are You Serious? but im not stopping it im just gonna do both at once which i have NEVER done before. So here we go! Id like to dedicate this part to y'all and Michael Jackson. ENJOY!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Me: GOING TO CALIFORNIA! YIPPEE! Kiki: SHUT UP! We're in an airplane! Dont embarrass me! Just to get you into things, im Claudia, but everyone calls me Claude jus cuz. It's 1972, im 13 years old (almost 14) & im moving to California!!! Thats my big sister Kiki. Shes coming with me. Shes 3 years older than me but she acts like my mom whom we're moving away FROM. My parents are divorced and Kiki & i were living with my mom back in Gary, Indiana for YEARS. But finally she & my dad decided that we should live with him. I haven't seen him in FOREVER. Ive never been to California & i know NOTHING about my dad. Well i cant wait till i GET to know him. Me: Arent you excited to go to California! Kiki: YA! *rolls eyes* Me: Oh come on Kiki! It'll be fun! A new chapter in our childhood! Kiki: *looks at me* What are you? Edward Allen Poe? Me: Arent you excited to see Dad? Kiki: Of course i am! Now can you PLEASE be quiet! You're so annoying! I shut my mouth. This happens all the time. Kiki will tell me to shut up when im just trying to make conversation with her & then call me something rude to me. For instance, "annoying". I know its not THAT rude of a word but im a VERY sensitive person, like a REALLY sensitive person. And my self esteem goes down every time she puts me down. I even think that retarded is a mean word to say to someone. 3 hours later... We arrive in California & we're exiting off the plane. I can't WAIT to see Dad! Me: THERE HE IS! Kiki: Where? Crowd: AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Kiki: Claude! Look out! Kiki grabs my arm & we move to the side & this entire crowd of people run past us. Whats going on? Crowd: WE LOVE YOU!!!! Me: They love our dad too? We try to look at whats so exciting & coming from the plane that we just got off from were these boys surrounded by TONS of girls. They looked like this: http://www.seattlepi.com/dayart/20090625/6212643794_10.jpg But there were dozens of security guards that were blocking the crowd. Me: Who are they? Kiki: They're the Jackson 5! Me: Who? Kiki: *rolls eyes* God! You dont know anything! Me: *looks down* Kiki: They're a famous singing group! Me: Then why havent i ever heard of them? Kiki: Cuz you've been living under a rock! Me: SORRY! Kiki: They have TONS of hits! They're all brothers. And they're SO cute! Me: Anything else? Kiki: They're actually from Gary Indiana too. Thats their home town. Me: Really! Kiki: YA REALLY. Now can you just shut up! I shut my mouth & start looking around for dad again cuz we lost him when those fans ran by. ???: GIRLS! Me: *turns around* DAD! I run up to him & give him a BIG hug. Kiki just walks right behind me acting too cool for a hug. Typical Kiki. Dad: So how've you kids been! Me: Great! Kiki: Gosh Dad! We're not kids any more! Dad: Oh, im sorry. *looks where J5 is* What's going on there? Kiki: Oh my God the Jackson 5 were on our flight! Dad: Oh that boy band? Me: Am i the only one who's never heard of them? D & K: Yes. They start walking to the car & i take one last glimpse of them. While they were sitting down and signing autographs i swore that one of them looked at me RIGHT in the eyes. I knew i couldnt go up to him & flirt cuz he's obviously very famous so i just turned around & walked to the car. I wonder if he was.
