I'm Not Letting Go~~Chapter 25
Sorry for the long delay, friends. I've been really sick lately with the chemo and the tumors attacking. I thank you for bearing with me. Leslie Michael smiled and laid down beside me, stroking my arm," How are you, angel?" " I'm good...you're good.....you're very good at firsts, Michael." " Thank you," he answered," I'm gonna go clean up a bit then we can talk some about something, okay?" " Okay." I answered," Michael--" " Yes?" " I love you." " I love you too." he answered. Soon Michael came back and I'd dressed and we went into the living room," So angel, do you wanna live in California? Because we don't have to. Anywhere you wanna go---anywhere you'll be happy is where I want us to be." " Wherever you're gonna be happiest." I answered. " That would be wherever you are." he said smiling. So wherever we can be together is all we need, right?" " Right." I said cuddling to him on the couch. " You know, we can get married this coming thursday." " Thursday?? THIS Thursday?" " Uh huh. You don't have chemo that day so that's several days without the oncology building and people..." " Michael, who could marry us so quickly?" " Jesse Jackson. He'd love to do it. I've already talked with him about it and he'd be thrilled to do it." he laced his fingers with mine," Well, sweetie, would you marry me next week?" " It's so soon, Michael....are you sure?" " Don't you want to marry me?" he asked. " Of course I do....I just want you to be sure I'm the one you want." " You are." he said." No doubts. You're my girl. And if you like, we can get married at Barry Gibb's place in Florida. He's offered." " Barry." " Uhhuh." he answered. " My head is reeling." I said smiling. " A lot to digest, hmm?" he smiled. " Uh huh." " So take all the time you need to think it over," he smiled," What's your answer?" I laughed," Yes Michael. My answer is yes." " Perfect." he smiled and kissed my forehead then wrapped his arms around me," I love you so much." " I love you too." I answered. " Now to just kill this cancer thing." " Oh I wish we could find a way to. I don't want to leave you just when I've found you." " I won't let you leave me. You're mine. If God has other plans down the road, who am I to argue with Him? But I won't like it." he kissed my cheek," I love you, Leslie." " I love you too." I replied. The next day we headed to chemo and there were flowers waiting for me in my little room from Michael. " Awww." I smiled," Thank you." " For what?" He asked innocently." We'll talk to Kim today about getting your treatment set up in California. Okay beautiful?" " Okay." I answered and kissed his cheek." My Michael...." " My angel...." TBC
