Do I Know You?....Part 15

I went to my room and heard a knock on my door. It was Jess and she had the phone in her hands. "It's for you" She mouthed as the handed me the phone and left.

Me: Hello?
Michael: Hey, you alright?
Me: Yeah, but it's not about me. Is your arm okay? I mean, did you get it bandaged?
Michael: Uhh yes.
Me: (Can tell he's lying) Michael, what...where are you?
Michael: Pulled over at the side of Nelson Road.
Me: Why?
Michael: I had a song idea.
Me: Seriously Michael?  You're arm is losing heaps of blood and you're writing down a song?
Michael: Nope. I'm recording it.
Me: Michaelll!!
Michael: You worry too much.
Me: Please just get it fixed up. Do it for me.
Michael: (Sighs happily) Okay. I lo-....See ya later.
Me: Thanks, bye hun.

I hung up and went to bed. The next day I had work. Michelle was extremely busy and that meant bad things for me.

Michelle: Have you spokeen to Madonna yet?
Me: Yes, she was busy and can't do an interview. But I did speak to Lionel Richie and Cyndi Lauper.
Michelle: Really!?
Me: Yeah, Mr Richie is booked for an interview in Issue 15. I didn't speak directly with Miss Lauper, but I spoke with her agent. He'll call me back at lunchtime today.
Michelle: Hm good work Ange.

At lunchtime, I got a call from Mr Blake (Cyndi's agent) and she agreed to do an interview for Issue 14.  I was really excited because she was one of my favourite singers.

Over the next seven days, I didn't speak much with Michael, because he was busy with this "idea" he had. I was also busy helping Lisa the interviewer, getting questions for Cyndi ready.

On Monday, Michelle was freaking out and crying.

Me: What's wrong? Babe, what's wrong?!
Michelle: Lisa was in a car accident!
Me: (Gasp!)
