The Way We Were: 1
*Hi! Okay, I know I haven't been on in a long time but...I'm here now! haha. -Lexa* Michael Jackson and I were friends ever since we were born. I know, not many people get to be friends with him. Well, not many people that aren't celebrities, that is. Anyway, we were best friends...until he moved to California. I was heart broken. We called each other and wrote letters. But that soon ended a year later when the Jackson 5 started to become really popular. It's now 1983 and I was flying to Gary (I'm living in Arizona right now) and I hoped that I would see the old house. Already, memories were coming back. I smiled as we landed. I was the first person off the plane and quickly found my sister waiting for me. Me:: Lilly!! *hugs her* Lilly:: Becky! It's been so long! Me:: *pulls away* Lil, it's been a year. Lilly:: That's long to me! Me:: *laughs* Okay. So, we gonna go now? Lilly:: Yep. Ready for the memories? Me:: Good memories, yes. Bad memories...*sighs* no. Lilly:: *sighs* Still remembering that? Me:: Yeah. I mean...we were best friends. I don't know what happened. Lilly:: They got famous. But, can you just TRY to enjoy being here? Please? Me:: *laughs* Okay okay. We got in the car and started talking about what's been going on. I found out that she's engaged and pregnant. I was shocked when she asked me to be her bridesmaid. But I guess I shouldn't have. I AM her sister. But then she told me that Michael was here the day before and left this morning. I was shocked and depressed. He was here? And I missed him. Lilly:: Don't worry, sis. You guys'll meet again some day. But the question is...when will that be? We arrived at the house and I saw he fiancee standing on the porch. She smiled at him and looked at me. Lilly:: That's Jake. My fiancee. I'm pretty lucky, huh? *giggles* Me:: *giggles* Yeah you are. *looks around* As I was looking, I saw that nothing has changed. It looked the same as it did back in the 60's. I smiled. I'm glad nothing has changed. I wanted to remember everything. -Later that night- I couldn't sleep so I decided I would go out and see everything. First, I looked at the Jackson's house. Like I said, nothing has changed. I was surprised how small it was. I remember that when I was little, I didn't really notice that it was so small. It seemed perfectly fine to me. I looked around some more and saw the old tree house in their backyard. I smiled and soon, the memories came back. *Flashback* Michael:: Becky!! I need your help! Me:: *giggles* What is it? Michael:: Hehe. Can you paint that side? And I'll paint this side. Me:: Okay. *grabs the paint brush* We painted each side until it was finished. It was kind of boring, but then the fun began. Michael:: Can you hand me that towel? As he said that, he flicked the paint brush and paint landed on my nose. He looked at me and started laughing. Me: Oh, you're gonna get it now, Jackson! And then the paint fight began. We had so much fun! But we were gonna get killed when our parents found out. And the fun had to end some time. Joe:: Michael!! Get your ass down here!! *End flashback* I snapped out of it when I remembered hearing Joe's voice. To this day, his voice still scares me. Even in memories. *Okay, I know it wasn't that good but gimme a break. I haven't written a story on here in a while. Haha. -Lexa*
