Always Your Friend Part 16

I heard the limo pull up. Michael will be here soon. I placed the picture down. And as he was coming into the bedroomâ?¦he looked as if he had been crying.
How can I be so heartless to himâ?¦

(Michael): Laâ??laniâ?¦babyâ?¦pleaseâ?¦can we talk?
(Me): (turns to him with my arms crossed)
(Michael): Lanni...I didn't mean to do this. I didn't enjoy any minute of it, I swear
(Me):...
(Michael): Lanni...
(Me): (walks past him and through the wall to the kids bedroom)
(Michael): (sighs)

I was sitting near Prince smoothing down his blonde hair. I hope when he starts dating, he finds a good girl that will treat him right, and the same with Paris, when she gets older that a good man will come and take her. I remembered a song my sister Crystal made for our cousin Ruby when she was gettin' married after her dad had past away. I was done to this part of the lyrics when Michael walked in, "You can let go now, daddy
you can let go, oh, I think I'm ready to do this on my own"

(Michael): that's a very wonderful song, Lanni
(Me): thanks
(Michael): (whispering coming over to me) please don't be cross at me
(Me): have the right when i see a women on your lap with no shirt on and you kissing her and enjoying it!
(Michael):ssh...shh(points to the kids) that little ones
(Me): right, right

Me and Michael left the kids room. I began to walk away when Michael took my arms and placed me aginst the wall. I didn't want to look up to him at the point. He placed his finger under my chin and made me look up at him. His eyes held anger. I wanted him to understand, I didn't hate him...I just don't trust him anymore. The thing with Brooke, almost hitting me back in '79, and now this...I don't know if I should even trust him. I still love him, but...not like I once did.

(Michael): Lanni...please...I'm sorry, I will never do it again
(Me): Michael, you've been going on and on about it since '79 saying that you will never try to hurt me again. And I'm sick of it Mike
(Michael): Lanni...please...I never meant to hrt you, you know I didn't...that women suduced me. My heart belongs to you, baby
(Me): (sighs)
(Michael): do you believe me?
(Me): Michael...
(Michael): yes, baby?
(Me): I wish I could...but I just can't...I gotta get out of here(falls through the wall hearing Michael calling my name; crying out for me)

That was the most painful thing I ever did to him...but I couldn't leave till my job was done. But I didn't want to stay with him anymore, even though I love the kids...I just can't take it anymore with the heartbreak and the wonder if I should just give up on Michael or not. But I didn't know my job would end very soon...and me saving Michael would come real.

2009 June 24th....

Michael was making his come back tour...and his Dr. was giving him all the medicine. I knew what I had to do so he be save.
