Tahlia's Love Story - part 4
So Bec picked me up and we drove to her house in silence. When we got there, that's when she pulled out the Pyjamas and Ice cream. We were talking happily until she went quiet. Me: What's wrong? Bec: I don't know how to say this. Me: You can tell me. Bec: I got a job offer in Los Angeles. Me:...... Bec: I'm moving on Wednesday. Me: But.... Bec: Aw I'm so sorry. I feel terrible. I was gonna tell you on Monday. Me: That sucks. I really have to find a house. Bec: Okay we'll do that tomorrow. Get some sleep and I'l make breakfast in the morning. Me: Goodnight. So I had slept easily and on Sunday we couldn't find any houses. Monday Janet: Hi guys! Me: *sigh* Hi Jan. Janet: What's the matter? So I told her the news and she gasped. Janet: Well that's okay. You can stay with me for as long as you like. Me: Oh! Janet! Really!? Janet: Of course. But you might need to share a room with yours truly... Me: *screaming and hugging her* Janet! I owe you big time! So I went home with her that night and I waited outside as she told her mother. Janet: She said yes! Me: *relieved* Thank goodness. So the boys ran outside and grabbed my bags. Michael: Are you okay? Me: Yes why wouldn't I be? MJ: Because Janet said you and Rob split up. Me: Oh. That silly thing.*THAT was my genious response* Jackie: Well hello there sweet thang. Me: Hi. You must be Jackie. Jackie: And you must be on fire cuz you're hot! Marlon: Damn right. Tito: Who wants to go swimming? I was dying to escape reality and have fun for a few hours so swimming sounded perfect. Although I did wonder why the boys insisted that I wear La Toya's mini pink two piece even though Janet had a perfectly good blue one piece. I got changed and walked out into the sun and my dark hair shined in the light. Everybody turned and stared with their mouths wide open. Katherine: *under her breath* Boys! You're making her uncomfortable! We had heaps of fun in the sun and played games like marco polo in the pool. Whenever the boys went under water, I would feel the occasional hand and they would apologise and claim it was an accident. Yeah right. That night La Toya let me use her PJ's and I was blushing non-stop because it was just the size of a sports bra and the tightest short-shorts. Me: Thankyou La Toya, but I'll just wear my other clothes. LT: No way! You suit pink! I walked into Janet's room and we went to sleep. I woke a few hours later to get a drink of water. Katherine, Joe, La Toya and Janet were asleep and as I went to walk through the lounge room, I thought the boys were too. But they were all in the lounge room talking. I didn't want to disturb them so I started walking back to bed. That is, until I heard my name in their conversation. TBC....
