Scream - Part Nineteen

This is short, too, but it's the best part of the story. Enjoy!

After I'd put my jaw back up again I turned to Michael. "Is this true?" I asked. "Well I..." "IS THIS TRUE!!!" "No," answered Michael. "No. I wouldn't do that, never. She's lying." I believed him, as I somehow thought Lina would be the kind of messed up person to lie like that.

"Get out. Or I'll call the police," I threatened. "Yeah. Chop chop, Missy," said Janet. "Huh. Well if it isn't Janet Jackson. I take it that you and Michael got back in touch after saying that he existed to you no more?" asked Lina. "That's all behind us now," said Michael hurriedly. "Yeah." "Don't you DARE speak to my lover like that again!" shouted Lina. "I hate to break it to you, but he ain't your boyfriend, love!" said Janet.

They were arguing for about twenty minutes when Janet punched her. Lina twirled her head around with the force of the hit and banged her teeth on the hard seat at the back of her. She got up with blood frothing out of her mouth.

"Hy dith ooh ooh thap," said Lina, muffled. It translated to 'Why Did you do that?'. "What?" asked Janet. Lina spat the blood out on the floor and said clearly, "Why did you DO that?" "Er, why do people always seem to ask me the stupid questions?" asked Janet. And no-one else seeming to notice, I said "And you can't just spit on the floor wherever you please."
Lina opened her mouth to speak but then the door opened again.
Looking at Lina, he said: "Do you need any help, love?" to which she replied: "Not right now... unless you feel violent today."
I squinted and looked closely and realised who it was. Andrew.
