I might have met MJ in Westwood

I was attending UCLA and my brother came to visit. We went out that night to walk 
around Westwood which was a really fun place with a lot of night life. My brother was 
wearing his letterman's jacket from high school. We saw a guy who looked just like 
Michael Jackson but his face looked a little different than I remembered from Thriller 
days. (This was in 1989 or 1990) He had on black clothes that seemed special- 
different fabric or something. He was so light on his feet.  It was totally surreal. He 
was with a huge bodyguard. He came up to us and asked my brother where he got that 
jacket. We were both sort of shocked- I was just staring at him and my brain was 
trying to comprehend that Michael Jackson was right in front of us. I couldn't really 
believe what was happening. My brother struggled to formulate an answer - he said, 
"Just go to any sporting goods store..." We were like a deer in the headlights. Michael 
Jackson said thanks, and he walked/floated/danced away and my brother and I just 
looked at each other---what just happened? It was crazy. This is a true story.
