Me and michael - together forever pt. 1

'jodie, jodie get up!' said my mum. We had just moved to this new place called gary, indiana, and i was soooo sad. We had moved all the way from england, to here, and, typically, the neighbors are throwing a welcome party for us. And i had to go! 'mum, please! 5 more minutes?' 'no, jodie! The party starts in 3 hours, and the WHOLE street is coming, so get ready!' i sighed. Why did i have to go? I didn't know anybody. I got up slowly, and padded into the bathroom, had a wash, and came out again, walking over to my wardrobe. What shall i wear? Aha! i pulled out my all time favorite dress, it was a black satin halterneck, and i got out my matching shoes. They were black, and had 2 inch heels on them. Ha, they were my first pair of heels, i'm 13, so my mum won't exactly let me wear stilettos. I put the dress and the shoes on, and had to admit, i looked good! Then, it was time for hair and make-up. I straightened my dark brown hair until it was poker straight, and then did my make-up. I never wear foundation, cos it causes spots, so i just put a little bronzer on it, and my skin looked great, i curled my lashes to make my eyes real big, and put on some mascara, and a teensy bit of eyeliner. Maybe i was looking forward to this party after all!    TO BE CONTINUED...
