The next morning, I didn't feel like going to school. My whole head was a blur of what happened yesterday, and I never got to go on my date with Ray. I just kept visualizing the tears in his eyes and the anger in his voice. I really didn't want to hurt his feelings but after what he did to MJ.

They're kind of even right?
Or am I the reason this happened?

I kept thinking why this happened and what I could've done to prevent it, but then I realized that I can't do anything about it, all that's left to do now is make it right again. I finally got out of bed, took a shower, and got dressed.

C:Bye!
X:Why do you always yell that?
C:*gasps*
X:Where are you going this early?
C:*whispers* What are you doing up already?
X:I couldn't sleep *turns on TV*
C:That makes two of us, bye
X:Wait!
C:What!
X:What happened to your leg a few days ago? *eats chips*
C:I'll tell you later
X:Stupid

On my way, I saw MJ. I caught to him, and again he didn't look happy to see me.

C:Hey
M:I can't talk to you anymore
C:Why? What happened now?
M:Ray and I have been best friends for a long time and we agreed that we weren't gonna let some girl come between us

And with that he walked away. I looked at him like he lost his mind by calling me "some girl".

C:Excuse me! Some girl?
M:That's what I said. Now would you please go away?

MJ turned the corner and waited for Ray again. I followed him as Ray was walking down the stairs, he saw me and rolled his eyes.

C:Wait guys
R:Wait MJ. I wanna hear what she has to say. After she played us
C:Look, I know what I did was wrong but what you did Ray wasn't any better. You stole MJ's girl which is apparently against the bro code.
R:He was ok with it, so stop trying to get in our business
C:He lied when he said that it was ok, tell him MJ. Tell him about how he ruined your plan and took away the love of your life, and tell him about how you were too scared to tell him the truth because you knew he would do something bad like he did yesterday.
R:MJ, is that true man?
M:Yeah

Ray looked at the ground. I heard him mumble sorry to MJ, then they did their handshake. I just stood their awkwardly. They finally let go and Ray turned to face me.

R:Well, now that we have that solved. I could tell you I never wanted to cancel our date, I was just mad. But since I know that it was just a friendship kiss. You wanna go out on a real date?

I looked back at MJ, he gave me a slight smile then nodded. I looked back at Ray and nodded "yes". He smiled wide and hugged me. I looked back over his shoulder at MJ. Ray was saying something  but all of my attention was focused on MJ. He looked at the ground and walked away. Finally, Ray let go and started running towards MJ.

R:Tonight at 7, remember that
C:But where is the da-

I was about to call after him but he was talking to MJ. I started walking to school, but down my normal route. The whole time I kept thinking about MJ, I hope I didn't make another mistake. TBC
