Christmas for Brylnn-Part 1-Preface
Preface-13 years earlier Christmas Eve, a rare falling of snow took place in California, 1992 a sound of a baby crying could be heard echoing far and wide across one street. A women figure carried the crying girl child, shushing her as the snow made the road slippery as she ran. The women was covered up, you couldn't describe any features of her. She reached a church; it was eerie in the night. The large doors, gargoyles on the roof ledge and the feel of eyes watching her in what she was doing. She placed the child on the foot of the church steps, ran up to the large doors, knocked loudly so people could hear and ran right before anyone came out of the church. The small baby laid there crying, screaming and coughing as the fell and the wait for someone to find her grew tensed. On her blanket was a note her mother left for whoever found her first. It read: "My name is Katherine Brylnn. Please find me a good home. Merry Christmas." The baby cried and screamed until she was finally brought into the church by the preacher; he was busy in the very back and hardly heard the large doors until he started leaving, hearing the poor child's cries for somebody to find her. The preacher held the child, making sure she is warm, holding the note in his other hand. After reading he turned to the child. "Do not worry, Brylnn," the preacher said, placing the small note into his pants pocket. "I will find you a good home. I promise."
