Losing Your Memory:: Part 2
*Here is part two of the story. I got this idea from the song Losing Your Memory by Ryan Star and also after watching Carrie(you'll understand later through out the story) and also everyday life for certain people and what could actually happen. Yeah, so, here we go. Hi-ho-hi-ho, to reading we go. Haha... xTrendy_Designer_On_Her_Wristx* Michael and Victoria laid down on the grass, looking at the darkening sky. The stars were starting to come out. Dusk was Victoria's favorite time of day. The sky turned to this orange-pink color, mixing with the darken sky, the moon starts to fade in as the sun sets and the stars slowly fade in. It was beautiful to Victoria, to Michael it was just another ending of a day where the moon comes out and fireflies start to appear in the open out of no where. "Why do you like dusk so much?" Michael asked his best friend out of no where, causing Victoria to turn her head slightly at him. "Because it's beautiful; different, unique." Victoria told him, smiling. "Something I don't get at home often. Same thing every single day." "What's up with your mom anyways, Tori?" "What do you mean?" "She acts like you're the devil or something." Michael said, turning over to face his friend. Holding his self up on his elbow. "I don't know. I just feel like she hates that she's your mother." "She doesn't hate that she's my mother." Victoria said quietly, above a whisper but Michael still heard it. "Momma just hates how I am." "What do you mean how you are?" "I'm different; not like her." "Freaky and very religious?" "Yeah." For a bit, both Michael and Victoria staid silent until she noticed how late it was. She told her best friend farewell and began walking home. Victoria hated leaving the Jackson's house and then going home to her crazy mother. The wind blew softly through her curly brown hair. It sent shivers through her body, causing goosebumps to form on her pale skin. Victoria wrapped herself tighter in her coat. While walking, passing houses and houses till reaching hers, she started remembering when she first moved in here. Times were different than they were now. For her mother, what wasn't seen fit, it was sinful and outrages. Yet, Victoria and Michael made it work for their friendship. Gary, Indiana 1967 Seven-year-old Victoria walked around her new street, her oversized favorite hat on her head, after getting permission from her crazy, religious mother Jessica. It was a very cozy looking neighborhood. Giggling, she tried her best to step on the cracks on the sidewalk; most kids didn't want to think of the idea of breaking their mother's backs, but Victoria thought it would be very fun if that happened. In fact, she would be pleased if it happened. While walking she noticed a boy hiding in the bushes. Tilting her head slightly, Victoria moved slowly behind the boy without him knowing it. She saw him staring strongly at a house across the street. "Whatcha doin?" She asked out of no where, causing a scream from the boy and having him jump from to his feet. She stared up into his brown eyes as he stared down into her crystal ones. "Whoa, whoa, whoa-no need to be startled." "W-who are you?" The boy asked, stuttering a little. "I'm Victoria," She said standing to her feet and holding her hand out to the new boy, smiling sweetly at him. She waited for him to react but found out he wasn't going to react fast. Sighing, she went on. "I just moved into that house over there. I ain't gonna bite cha. You can shake my hand." The boy hesitated a bit before taking the strange girl's hand in his. He still held a frown for a second before looking at Victoria's sweet smile, then he revealed on of his own. "There ya go," Victoria went on giggling a little. "I ain't gonna bite ya. Now I got ya smilin' at me." "Yeah," The boy said letting go of Victoria's hand. He began walking back to his house when he saw a man standing on the front doorsteps of the house, Victoria supposed was his, and sighed nervously. "Hey now!" Victoria called out to the boy, stomping her feet. Oddly, it was like something shot out of her. Like a certain type of invisible motion wave. The boy turned around to her, raising an eyebrow. "I didn't get your name. I told you mine, now I wanna know yours." "Michael," The boy said smiling. "Michael Jackson." With that said the boy named Michael started walking to his house, Victoria only watched him walking with a smile on her face. She gave a nod of approval before walking back to her house, noticing that it seemed like it was about to rain. As she reached her gate, she smiled again looking towards Michael house. She just knew her and this Jackson boy would great friends. Gary, Indiana 1976 Smiling Victoria walked up to her doorsteps, sighing reaching the front door and entering. Her heart raced as she slowly made it to the stairs, making sure her mother didn't hear her. That was until she heard her mother's voice calling her from the living room. Swallowing hard, breathing heavily, she walked down from her halfway point of the stairs and slowly made her way into the living room. She closed her eyes, knowing what was going to happen next. Even before it happened, a single tear fell from her eye. *Till next time.*
