Friendzone Heartbreak

Michael: Hello?
Molly: Hey Mike, it's Molly.
Michael: Hey girl, what's up?
Molly: Nothing much, I just need some of your world-class advice.
Michael: (Laughs)Ask away! The guru is in!
Molly: (Laughs) Alright, well there is a boy that I can't seem to 
get over. I've tried to for the past year or so, and I just 
can't. Plus, he-
Michael: (Slight jealous tone to his voice) Do I know this guy?
Molly: I don't think so. The name Jacob ring a bell?
Michael: No, it doesn't.
Molly: Well then, you probably don't know him. Anyway, he got a 
girlfriend just as I mustered up the courage to tell him that I 
really like him. I just don't know what to do. Help?
Michael: Hm. Well, I guess you should just come out with it. The 
worst he could do is say no.
Molly: Yeah, you're right as always... (Sighs) I-I just, (Starts 
to tear up) I love him, Michael. And it hurts so much to see him 
love someone else.
Michael: I understand that feeling completely. Molly? There's 
something I gotta get off my chest.
Molly: Yeah? What's up, Mike?
Michael: (Takes a deep breath) M-Molly? I-I think that your the 
most beautiful girl in the world. A-and, I love everything about 
you. And, (voice slightly shaky) I love you, Molly. More than 
I've ever loved anyone else in this world.
Molly: (Smiling) Oh Michael, you're the sweetest thing! (Sigh) I 
wish there were men out there like you... I'm so glad I have a 
best friend like you. 
Michael: Did you not-
Molly: Sorry man, I gotta go. I love you too Michael! I'll come 
over later this weekend, if your security lets me in... Bye! 
(Hangs up)
Michael: Don't you get that we're perfect for each other? (Hangs 
up, hurt)
