Tough Love Part 19; Part 5
I really hope you guys enjoyed! Since great & surprising things are going to be happening in the story, I thought I owed yâ??all this much. Plus, there is this guy that goes to y school, and fit Tigerâ??s description, so I jumped on the idea. The same thing happened with characters Toni and Adam too :). You guys gotta keep reading though. P*S* I know that there have been lots of guys that Lyric has talked about in a matter of days, but just like life, stuff happens! Plus I A NOT trying to take Lyricâ??s & Michaelâ??s bond away. I just canâ??t spoil you all of the details. Iâ??m forming these things in my in, so bare with me!! If you have any thoughts or anything, just tell me!! luv Aariyan!~ ~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~! ~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~ Chapter 19 Part 5 The Arousal of Michael Though I was still full from the food, you could still see me with my head ducked in the refrigerator, being greedy. Sometimes it just seems like good exercise to chow down on something when Iâ??m nervous, or when something unexpected has just happened in life. I donâ??t know why, but itâ??s like Iâ??m reassured that things will be fine. So letâ??s say around eleven nineteen, Dad was back. â??Little girl, why do I still see you digging in the refrigerator?â? He jokingly asked. â??Because even though the food was good, and Iâ??m full, Iâ??m still hungry.â? Though what I said didnâ??t make complete since, that is how it left my mouth. â??That doesnâ??t mean you have to eat out the whole refrigerator, honey.â? He said while laughing. â??I know.â? I said while wishing I could have another egg roll, but settling for some more noodles instead. I know that since egg rolls cost more, because itâ??s an icon in its own right, they are a little more expensive. So I know thatâ??s probably why Tiger only got us four egg rolls in all. â??So, what do you think about him?â? Clarence asked as I was going in the living room with him. â??Heâ??s straight.â? Then I felt a little bad when I said it because I try not to talk like that around my parents. â??Heâ??s just one of the guys Iâ??ve sorta helped out in the past. Plus he wasnâ??t sure if he wanted to go in the military or what.â? â??What is he doing now?â? â??I believe a firefighter, but I could be wrong.â? â??But Iâ??m ainâ??t sure if his father even knows.â? â??Is he really that strict?â? â??You know, Iâ??m not that sure. He said his grandpa was strict. His dad probably isnâ??t aware, or doesnâ??t care.â? â??Oh.â? Sitting in the recliner, I continued to glow a little. I mean, I know heâ??s eighteen and all, but I donâ??t know what it is about guys. Maybe Iâ??m a little boy crazy. Plus, even though Iâ??m sixteen, he no longer treats me like a little girl. And Tiger doesnâ??t expect anything extra from me. Itâ??s like what you see on his expression is what youâ??re gonna get. â??Hey, Iâ??m about to go to bed, Lyr. Stop waiting up for Michael.â? â??Actually, Iâ??m not. Iâ??m just dozing in and out a little.â? Even though my father said he was about to hit the pillow, he laid back and sat on the couch for five more minutes. â??You know honey, though I have guys around you, I donâ??t want you getting the wrong impression.â? â??I know, Dad.â? â??No, I donâ??t want you thinking that since some boy smile at you, heâ??s good for ya.â? â??No, I understand.â? â??And I canâ??t believe that I havenâ??t put that damn guy in a casket by now. Now, I should put his ass under the ground alive!â? â??Daddy, stop. Itâ??s been more than one guy, and you know it.â? â??Yeah, I know that. And I ainâ??t happy â??bout it.â? â??Me either. And I know I grew up fast. Sadly, Iâ??m trying to regress and get some of my childhood back. I donâ??t wanna be every guyâ??s desire.â? â??You donâ??t know how happy that makes me to hear that!â? He said with a true smile. â??But. What made you? What made you happy to be around him sometimes?â? â??Daddy, Toni was, affectionate sometimes. I mean, he really was. You wouldâ??ve been happy. But as much joy as I got out of his happiness, his wrath was also dangerous. I mean, you donâ??t understand! He would be on the streets sometimes, and he was molested when he was little! You donâ??t know what heâ??s been through!â? â??So, it makes it okay for him to make you his own slave?â? â??NO! And itâ??s okay for my mama to be sitting in the house, not aware of anything at all?â? â??You couldâ??ve told her! But Iâ??m not blaming you, honey.â? â??Yeah you are, Dad! And you know, I hate myself for it! I hate that I couldnâ??t always keep him happy! I mean, he was such a great person when I was happy.â? He just shook his head, and got up to leave. Once he walked up to the first step, he paused and turned around. â??You know, you need to bake a cake for Shaun as a thank you. I have the cake mix in the kitchen.â? â??But you remember I promised I was going to meet up with Foster. I havenâ??t seen him in so long. Itâ??s the lease I can do.â? â??Well, I want the cake to be made out to her by Sunday.â? Then as he was going up the stairs again, he turned around and walked down the stairs. â??And whatâ??s up with all these guys, Lyr?â? â??Dad, if you had let me meet Michael when I was younger, you wouldnâ??t have to worry about me going through all these guys.â? â??And by now, youâ??d probably be pregnant!â? I looked at him in alarm. â??Whyâ??d you say THAT?â? â??Because Iâ??m not stupid, honey. Iâ??ve seen how he looked at you.â? â??And you donâ??t care?â? â??Oh, I care. Michael fears me a little, and thatâ??s how I like it.â? Then he smiled a little. â??I know you fear me some, also.â? He said. Then without another word, he slipped up the stairs for good. Sensing it made no sense for me to stay down here any longer; I walked up the stairs, ready to shower. As I did, the door opened, and I heard Michael walk in. I believe he had my fatherâ??s key. Dad is a little apprehensive about getting him his own key. I donâ??t blame him â??cause you never know what strangers might do! I turned and saw him a little distracted in the face. â??Hey,â? I whispered. He really focused on me then. â??Hey.â? He said back. â??Soo, how was the family discussion?â? â??Finnnee, hon.â? â??Good.â? â??So, you must know that guy for real?â? â??Yeah, sorta.â? I said, agreeing. â??How?â? â??A friend of Adamâ??s. I mean Toniâ??s.â? â??Girl, get it together. Whoâ??s who?â? â??Okay, come on.â? I said. Though I knew it was sometime after midnight, I grabbed Michaelâ??s arms, and directed him out to the â??special porchâ?. I sat against the house, he sat by me. I sat closer to the door because I felt safer there. I felt if HE tried to lean over and kiss me, at least I can catch someoneâ??s attention by opening the door. I let out a deep breath. â??I was just explaining to my dad about Toni. Ya see, his real name is Adam, but his mother, and the other Adamâ??s mother, was close. The other Adamâ??s real name is Antonio, so you see why I call the real Adam Toni. Toni with an â??iâ? for the spelling.â? â??So, what? Adam and Toni swapped names?â? â??Sorta. But they have each otherâ??s first names as middle names. So to them, it made perfect sense to them.â? â??So, where does Tiger fit in with the equation? Cause I know I know his face now.â? â??Yeah, you do. Tiger lived up where I lived. He was their friendâ??Toniâ??s and Adamâ??s. And remember, Iâ??m calling the real Adam Toni, if thatâ??s not confusing to you.â? â??Oh, itâ??s not anymore.â? â??Yeah, well Tiger wasnâ??t very fond of me, I remember. He didnâ??t like me because he knew I was with Toni, but I was linked to Adam also.â? â??WHAT?!â? â??Look, itâ??s a long story, okay. Tiger is really the third wheel in this equation. â??It actually took a while for him to grow to me. I learned that he wasnâ??t like Toni, nor Adam. Plus Adam was more of the â??playboyâ??. But like I said, I Tiger struck me as cute. And I knew by the looks of him, he had to be mix with a little white. I could just tell by seeing him! â??But we hung out a few times without Toni, and things grew a little. I mean, Iâ??m not a bad person, so please donâ??t think of me as a hoochie.â? I said looking at him. He only looked at me without saying anything, and rubbed my face. â??Everyone has a past.â? He simply said. I only looked down, breathed in again, and looked at him. â??When he moved down here, we lost contact. Plus Toni just about had my throat when he figured out what was happening.â? â??Yo, whatâ??s wrong with him?â? I laughed. â??What?â? â??You said â??yoâ??.â? â??Lyric, be serious!â? â??I mean, Toni is a straight person. I mean, heâ??s really fantasticâ??terrific! But he doesnâ??t like being laughed at. He doesnâ??t like taking things serious all the time. Plus heâ??s needy because his mom would have guy friends around. Plus he was molested by some preacher. So heâ??s really messed up in the head.â? Michael looked at me in alarm. â??Really?â? â??Seriously.â? I said. â??Heâ??s paranoid, and he doesnâ??t trust many people. And he didnâ??t always get along with his mama. So it was like I was the woman figure in his life.â? â??What about the chick he was dating?â? â??I think she got tired of him. And she got tired of competing with his stares towards me. She told me to have him.â? â??Was it overwhelming being with him?â? â??Yeah, of course. He had me wide open and curious. Not curious to have sex, but curious enough to tease a guy, and to see how to get him aroused. Not that I wanted him like that. We were just playing around so much, that he would suggest things. When I would be like no, he had a way of making his way the only way.â? â??When was the first time he hit you?â? â??Why do you assume that he hit me?â? â??Because Iâ??ve talked to prostitutes whoâ??s been abused. Youâ??re story is no different than theirs.â? â??So what, Iâ??m a frigginâ?? prostitute now since I was raped by a trusted, dingy teacher. Now, Iâ??m the crazy one!â? â??I thought it was Toni.â? â??No, I only say that to make things better. I mean, heâ??s done it to me also, but he wasnâ??t the first. Thatâ??s why by the time I moved up north, I wasnâ??t â??virgin materialâ?? anymore. I guess Toniâ??s mom told him about me, and he felt it was fine for him to do his little dirt deed, too. I just wish I could have the good side of Toni all the time.â? â??Well, itâ??s his own freakinâ?? fault.â? â??Michael, itâ??s fine. Iâ??m down here, now.â? â??No it ainâ??t. You canâ??t even trust me because youâ??ve been so damaged before. I donâ??t even understand why youâ??re always by so many boys.â? â??Well, for one, I girls are more vicious. Guys are more laid-back. I just really wanted to get accepted by someone. My stepfather at home wasnâ??t always much help, so I would go out, looking for someone to love me. â??And you know what, it is so funny how men are so accepting to you when you need the emotional support. And I donâ??t think it was really Toni trying to get in my pants. I think it was more that he wanted complete, and I was his dummy to whom he could screw around with whenever he wanted.â? â??Do you think heâ??s been with someone else before you?â? â??No.â? I said, shaking my head. â??That first time, he was so inexperienced. It was so painful, being underneath him. Though the preacher abused him, I donâ??t think the man ever did anything else to him. He just fondled him a lot. Not like that make things any better.â? I said. When Michael didnâ??t respond after fifteen seconds, I looked at him. I didnâ??t want him thinking I didnâ??t wanna take his feelings in consideration. He only looked at me. As I shifted away, looking away from him, he touched my arm. â??You probably donâ??t understand why I hang around you.â? â??No, I truly donâ??t. By now, you should think of me as a hole in the wall.â? â??Donâ??t say that.â? He said, while lightly hitting me on the arm. â??Girl, youâ??re a beauty. I wanna get to know you.â? â??Why?â? â??Becauseâ?¦I donâ??t know. I wanna keep you warm. Other than youâ??ve father, youâ??ve been unappreciated by men. Can I make that difference in your life?â? â??Why do you want to?â? â??â??Cause I like making pretty girls smile.â? â??Pssh, stop it.â? â??No, you stop it!â? â??No, you!â? â??You!!â? I pushed him; he pushed me back. We had a pushing match, until he unfairly pushed me down. Then he bit his lip and fell over me a little. I smiled, knowing how much I loved being around him. He bit down and hugged me tightly. â??Hey, are you like this with all the girls you like?â? I said, leaning back on my elbows. â??Man, usually Iâ??m not this raunchy.â? â??Raunchy?â? â??Iâ??m not this hands-on.â? â??So, what makes me so different?â? â??I donâ??t know. You tell me.â? I sorta know why I was throbbing a little. I looked down and saw something that I was embarrassed about. Michael looked down, too. Then he scurried up, sprinting away from me. I got up, laughing a little because of the awkward situation. â??Yo, check out Michaelâ??s boner.â? I said, whispering a little. He looked at me, blushing horribly. He walked into the house, barely closing it behind him. I tried walking in behind to get him to talk to me, but he shook me away, and sat down on the couch. I tried following him on the couch, but he pushed me away without looking at my face. I felt bad, but also really â??matureâ? tonight. I mean, first, a guy kissed me. Then, I aroused Michael! Not that I wanted to. And I did feel embarrassed about it. That means that if he was sexually attractive to me, then heâ??s probably pictured me naked and everything! Thatâ??s not the Jehovah way, Iâ??m sure. And I sure am darn surprised that he would show his embarrassment all out in the open like that. As I was walking to my room, Michael grabbed my arm, and whispered to me, â??Joseph wants to meet you soon.â? Then he walked back downstairs. All of the air was sucked out of me then. I knew that Michael and I wouldnâ??t get away with all the playing weâ??ve been doing. If I thought I was afraid of my father, then I donâ??t know what to think of Joseph. He always seemed so stern. I mean, it didnâ??t take me long to notice that the Jacksons must have a strict father. I even remembering thinking that â??Boy, their father must be mean.â? And â??Since heâ??s so strict, do he BEAT THEM??!â? I really didnâ??t wanna meet him, because as soon as he saw me, he would think that I was too rowdy for the boys Jehovah religious. Now that I think about it, I wonder how Katherine let me around Michael, the most purely of them all. Well, that was before he wanted to bone my leg that isâ?¦. ~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~ I know, surprising, rite? Well, I was hoping that I wasnâ??t droning on and on, though I knew I was a little, so I put some spark in this part. Hope youâ??ll enjoy! I also hope that youâ??re eager to read the next part. I donâ??t wanna fail you, so Iâ??m doing my best, and constantly thinking. Vote up!
