Tough Love Part 17; Part 2
OK letâ??s say I got a piece of humble pie. I happened to watch an episode of Unsung yesterday. The episode is with the Sylvers. They were really popular in the 70s. They started out in the 60s and disbanded in the 80s. Sound like the Jacksons much? Well guys, do me a favor, watch the Sylvers on TV One, or listen to the song â??Misdemeanorâ? by Foster Sylvers. Itâ??s REALLY important if you guys see how Foster looked like when he was younger. Anywho, read onâ?¦:-) Aariyan. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chapter 17 part 2 Michaelâ??s Twin Every time I put on roller skates, I always have to get used to keeping my balance in them again. Luckily it didnâ??t take me long. Before I knew it, Janet was ahead of me. â??Wait!â? She looked back and laughed a little. Then she turned around for a second and then turned back the right way. When we were done with our Popsicles, we threw â??em away in the first trash can we passed. â??Wanna go out the neighborhood some?â? Janet asked. â??Shee-yeah!â? When she looked at me, I told her I wasnâ??t trying to cussâ??thatâ??s just something I wanted to say. After a few minutes, Janet asked me which groups I like right now other than her brothers. I looked at her while she smiled in a cocky-joking way. â??Shalamar is cool. Um, so is Switch. Donny Osmond is funny. Then thereâ??s another group with nine kids.â? â??That could be anyone!â? â??I remember how the little one look like. He wasnâ??t much older than me.â? â??Yeah, then who are they?â? â??Shoot, I canâ??t remember. I just know theyâ??re from Memphis.â? After some time, Janet decided to stop and get a snow cone. â??Want one?â? â??If youâ??re paying, sure. I didnâ??t bring nothing with me.â? â??Yeah, I carry a lilâ?? something-something. Mother and Joseph tells us to.â? â??Well could I get some cotton candy instead?â? â??If it makes you happy.â? It was funny how we challenged each other to skate through the crowds. â??Lyric, slow down!â? â??Iâ??m trying!â? Sadly I made a man knock down his cup. It was coffee because I saw it fall on the ground. It nearly fell on me! â??Okay, so weâ??re out in L.A. Where do you wanna go?â? â??For real?â? I asked her. â??Yeah.â? â??Why not a basketball court?â? â??Letâ??s meet some guys!â? she said jokingly. â??Naw, letâ??s just see what these Cali boys got.â? So we went to this local park in L.A. It was like a party that has already been crafted. If you wanted you could join. It hit me when I heard itâ??Misdemeanor. â??Whatâ??s up?â? Janet asked as I stopped skating. â??Donâ??t you hear that on that radio?â? â??What, that song?â? â??Yeah, â??Misdemanorâ?. Michael doesnâ??t sing thatâ??does he?â? â??Um, no. Some other boy does. He just sound like Michael.â? â??Oh.â? So we skated up to the court. I had to say a smile crept up on my face. I saw afros running up and down the court. â??Hey guys! I told yâ??all not to start yet!â? We looked over and I saw him. Heâ??s the closest Michael Jackson Iâ??ve met before Michael. Foster Sylversâ?¦. I wonder if itâ??s an overstatement if I say Foster Sylvers could literally be Michaelâ??s younger twin by four years. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Iâ??ve gotta say thank you to Unsung for being a great show. The Sylvers for leaving their mark. And Foster for being super adorable, small, and reminding me of Michael :). Keep reading!
